Premier League membership with baldest followers revealed – and it is already unhealthy information for Hull
They may be at the bottom of the table come kick off and it seems Hull City are top of the table for one thing – for being the baldest of them all
A bald prediction: Hull City fans are said to be thin on top
Fans of Hull City are already busy pulling their hair out – because they are the most bald in the Premier League. Table toppers Hull had a whopping 41.7% of their fanbase reporting they were either bald or balding.
Coming up the rear in second place were Sunderland fans, with a bald fanbase percentage of 39.8%.
The research, carried out by Freebets.com, surveyed 2,000 matchday going Premier League fans to discover which fanbases have the shiniest support.
Newcastle and Leeds United, completed third and fourth with 38.2% and 36.5% bald fans respectively. Based on the Bald Top 4, each club comes from the north of England.
At the other end of the table, Chelsea fans were found to have the fullest heads of hair in the Premier League, with just 13.8% of supporters bald or balding, the lowest rate of any club surveyed.
Fellow Londoners, Fulham fans weren’t far behind in 19th place, with 15.2% of their fanbase being bald, meaning London clubs are among the least likely to have a chrome dome.

Dominic Celica, Head of PR at Freebets.com, said: “The pattern was hard to miss: the further north you go, the less hair you’ll find in the stands. Hull City fans have gone from the Tigers to the shiniest support in the country.
“With over four in ten telling us they’re bald or balding, the MKM Stadium must be a nightmare on a sunny afternoon.”
Last season Sky Sports were forced to issue an apology after Hull City captain Lewie Coyle swore during a live interview moments after clinching promotion to the Premier League. Oli McBurnie netted the decisive strike in the Championship play-off final as Hull made their return to the top flight following a nine-year absence.
Coyle hoisted the trophy aloft shortly afterwards, but not before delivering a deeply moving interview to Sky.

He seized the opportunity to honour his father, who passed away aged 59 four years previously, when he used profanity and Sky promptly intervened with an apology.
“It’s tough,” Coyle confessed. “There’s just one man I want to celebrate this with. He’s not with us. I look up at the sky and I had a look up there today. He’s with me, I know he’s with me, for sure.
“The next best thing is I have my family, my beautiful partner, my little boy, my brothers and my friend that have been there since day one.

“I don’t think there’s many people that thought I could captain a side to the Premier League and even saying that out loud sounds a little bit wild. I’m just an honest, humble kid.
“But there’s certainly one man that would have believed in me and that’s my old man – and that’s all I told myself throughout the game.
“He would’ve been saying, ‘You can do it, son, f*** them’. I know I swore and I shouldn’t, I apologise, but I had to get it in there because that’s how my old man spoke.
