UK vogue model returns to excessive road after 7 years – full record of recent retailer areas
Karen Millen is making its return to the UK high street seven years after closing its physical stores, with a string of new TFG concessions opening across the country
Karen Millen is staging its comeback to the UK high street seven years after shuttering its physical shops, with a series of new concessions launching across the nation.
The British fashion brand is returning to bricks-and-mortar retail following customer requests, offering shoppers the opportunity to explore its garments in person once more.
Its ranges will be accessible through outlets run by The Foschini Group (TFG), with the expansion kicking off this month. The inaugural Karen Millen concession launched at Fosse Park in Leicester on August 14.
Two additional sites are scheduled to debut on Monday, August 17, with customers able to discover the brand at Aberdeen’s Union Square and Liverpool One.
Additional venues are anticipated to emerge as the high street revival progresses, reports the Express.
The confirmed locations so far are:
- Fosse Park, Leicester – August 14
- Union Square, Aberdeen – August 17
- Liverpool One – August 17
Customers can anticipate a carefully chosen range of Karen Millen apparel, with special occasion wear and some of the retailer’s most popular items taking the spotlight.
There will also be a particular emphasis on its Forever collection, which features “timeless garments” that have become “enduring bestsellers and signature pieces” for the brand.
Debenhams Group CEO Dan Finley said: “Karen Millen is a brand with real heritage, recognition and a loyal customer base, so bringing it back to the high street is a significant moment.
“Our customers want great fashion, but they also want to experience brands in different ways, and physical retail gives us another opportunity to do that.
“Working with TFG allows us to bring the Karen Millen signature craftsmanship and occasionwear to a new generation of customers, while building on the strength of a brand that has been part of British fashion for more than four decades.”
