Plane crashes in UK air present horror as pilot rushed to hospital with critical accidents
A pilot has been left with serious injuries after a plane crashed at Stow Maries Great War Aerodrome in Essex this afternoon. Emergency services have rushed to the scene of the incident during the air show.

A pilot has sustained “serious” injuries following a plane crash at an Essex aerodrome.
Emergency services raced to Stow Maries Great War Aerodrome near Woodham Ferrers this afternoon (August 16) following the horror incident.
It is believed to have occurred during the Stow Maries Air show. Essex Police received the first call just before 2.25pm today.
The only person in the aircraft has been transported to hospital with serious injuries. Thankfully, no other injuries have been reported as a result of the incident.
The public have been asked to steer clear of the area to allow emergency services to operate, reports Essex Live.

The museum has also now been closed to the public following the incident.
Stow Maries Great War Aerodrome stated: “Stow Maries Great War Aerodrome can confirm that there has been an air incident during our Air Show.
“More information will follow shortly. In the meantime, the Museum is closed to the public.”
A representative from Essex Police said: “Those attending the event are urged to follow the instructions of organisers and emergency service personnel.
“The public are asked to please avoid the area to allow responders the space to work at the scene.”
