Meghan Markle is facing a reality check as the Sussexes prepare for a shock UK comeback, with a royal expert warning two major flaws could sink the move. Prince Harry and Meghan are reportedly packing their bags to fly back across the Atlantic within days, bringing Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet with them.
The kids have already been enrolled in an unnamed British school, with the family set to hole up in a heavily guarded, non-royal private residence, with the Cotswolds rumoured as a possible location.
However, royal biographer Andrew Lownie insists the Duchess will struggle to adjust to life back on British soil.

Speaking on The Daily T podcast, Lownie said: “I can’t see Meghan enjoying a Cotswolds winter with the rain coming down, and her mother a long way away. So I just can’t see this working.”
While royal fans speculated the couple might be returning for good six years after quitting the working monarchy, a source claims the move might only be temporary.
A source told The Times: “It’ll be an extended period of time – it could be six months, it could be a year, it could be more – I don’t think even they know yet. They might suddenly go: ‘Why don’t we try Canada for a while? Why don’t we try Australia?'”

Rumours are rife over the sudden relocation. Some suggest Harry is desperate to be closer to King Charles, while others claim Meghan is eyeing up a UK acting role, with reports linking her to Guy Ritchie’s Netflix hit The Gentlemen – though counterclaims suggest the deal is off.
The Sussexes plan to touch down before the end of August so Archie and Lilibet can settle before term starts.
They will reportedly keep their £11m Montecito mansion and their holiday home in Portugal, while their two dogs will join them on the flight to Britain.
Many Brits are not too happy about the prospect of Harry and Meghan’s return, with a YouGov poll suggesting that 33 per cent think they should not come back and 21 per cent think they should.
Decisions about whether taxpayers will foot the bill for their security remain unanswered.
Harry and Meghan have yet to officially comment on the move.
