Prince Harry ‘nonetheless indignant’ with Royal Family and ‘expects apology’ after UK return
Insiders say the Duke of Sussex is still raging six years after fleeing to the US with wife Meghan Markle despite the family making a return to the UK

Prince Harry is “still angry” with Royal Family members and “expects an apology” after returning to Britain, pals have claimed. Insiders say the Duke of Sussex is still raging six years after fleeing to the US with wife Meghan Markle.
The couple – who quit as working royals and moved to California – sparked a bitter bust-up with royals after their bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey and claims in Harry’s book Spare about their treatment.
A source said: “Friends who caught up with Harry were expecting to hear noises of contrition and humility. Instead, there will be no imminent mea culpa from Harry by the sounds of things.
“Far from it, in fact. He is still in that Oprah mindset.
“They were agog to hear he still feels angry with members of the Royal Family, is still frustrated by the ‘men in grey suits’ who surround his father, and still expects an apology.”

Harry first mentioned the “men in grey suits” last year, suggesting palace officials had sabotaged attempts to reconcile with King Charles.
Last month, it emerged the couple will be returning to the UK with kids Archie, seven, and Lilibet, five, to a non-royal house believed to be outside London.
Their children are enrolled to start school this week. Meanwhile, former neighbours of the couple in Montecito, California, have spoken of their relief that they have left.
Author Robert Eringer said: “I’m out and about in Montecito a lot and never saw them.

“I doubt anyone would have noticed they’d left if it hadn’t been reported in the news but, since it was, the general impression is, good riddance.”
Another local, who declined to be named, said the Sussexes left “with a whimper, not a bang”.
“There were no moving trucks, no parties, nothing at all. One day they were here and the next they were back in England.”
Harry also accused the chair of the body which authorises protection for senior royals of not passing on information about a 2023 threat from al Qaida to his security staff or to the authorities in the US.

Harry, a former soldier who served in Afghanistan, wrote to Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood this month asking her to take a personal role in determining if his family receive close police protection.
The Times reported a source as saying: “With his return home, the game has changed. The first duty of a government is to protect its citizens and that includes Harry, his wife and his children. It’s not about the role he has here – it’s about the risk he and his family face, and he cannot simply stop being the son of the King.”
The Duke of Sussex, 41, was contacted for comment.
