Britain’s Got Talent has a brand new dwelling at Butlin’s as celebs pack out Bognor Regis

Britain’s Got Talent has a new home – at Butlin’s. The hit ITV talent show is going live next year with a celeb-packed version at the classic holiday resort’s three locations in Bognor Regis, Minehead and Skegness.

Holidaymakers will watch the action in Butlin’s 2,000-seat Studio 36 venues, which will be decked out with the familiar judges’ desk, Golden Buzzer and four red crosses. Mystery celebrity presenters will front each performance, with familiar faces from BGT also due to appear.

And visitors could even get the chance to take to the stage themselves in contests. The live version will run during every school holiday in 2027 as part of a shake-up of the resort chain’s entertainment.

Butlin’s entertainment director Mike Godolphin said: “We’re taking things to another level by bringing Britain’s Got Talent to our resorts for the first time, with celebrity presenters and performers that families will recognise from the show.”

BGT is one of eight new shows being introduced next year. Madagascar is also getting a live musical featuring film favourites Alex the Lion, Marty the Zebra, Melman the Giraffe and Gloria the Hippo.

And the K-pop craze has made it to Butlin’s too, with a concert-style show featuring songs made famous by Blackpink, BTS, Twice and Katseye. Children’s TV star Andy Day will appear on selected midweek breaks with a dinosaur-themed music show.

Other additions include Animals Magnified, featuring giant versions of creatures ranging from insects to mammals, and A Billion Streams, based around songs that have racked up more than a billion online plays. All eight shows will be included in the cost of holidays.
