Glam cheerleader arrested for ‘home abuse and safety order violation’
A glam cheerleader was arrested twice in a week over allegations she was the primary aggressor of a domestic assault, police have said

A glam cheerleader was arrested twice in a week over allegations of domestic violence and riding in the car of someone who had a protective order against her.
Kailyn Hasty, a freshman at Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU), was arrested on Thursday last week after allegedly assaulting an individual at an apartment complex. Murfreesboro Police Department stated the glam cheerleader was then detained again on Tuesday morning for violating a protective order following a traffic stop.
The officer who conducted the stop claimed the vehicle swerved out of lane. The driver of the car had a protective order in place against Hasty who was also inside the vehicle.

According to Laura Kunce, public information officer for the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office, Hasty is no longer in custody following the two arrests.
Speaking to MTSU Sidelines, the college student newspaper, cheer team leader Brooke Legens has blasted Hasty’s actions. The team leader stated: “Her actions are not a reflection of our values as a University or Spirit Program.”
She added: “MTSU Spirit nor I or any of our coaches condone violence in any type and it will never be tolerated. Our athletes work hard year-round to represent our University at the highest level, and we will continue to do so.”
The Daily Star previously reported on a cheerleader who was stabbed in the neck by an obsessed fan fanatical at a private modelling event. Wang Ching-wen, known professionally as Wenwen, was assaulted by a 52-year-old male fan who is alleged to have premeditated the attack.
The attempted murder reportedly occurred at a photography studio in Taipei on 20 June. The fan is said to have stabbed the 28-year-old cheerleader for the CTBC Brothers – one of Taiwan’s professional baseball teams – with a hidden fruit knife while she was participating in a photoshoot organised by Qin Jia Nuo Photography Company.
Wang is a member of the team’s cheerleading squad , the Passion Sisters. She sustained a 5cm laceration to her throat. Several photographers who stepped in suffered minor cuts. The suspect, identified only by his surname Hsu, had signed up for the event over a month earlier despite having been blocked by Wang previously due to persistent harassment.
