A Premier League ace was bound and hit alongside his then-pregnant girlfriend during a horrifying home invasion.
Manchester City shot-stopper Gianluigi Donnarumma and his now-wife Alessia Elefante were victims of the terrifying ordeal back in 2023 when the Italian was still at PSG, with the case now being heard at a Parisian criminal court.
Donnarumma and Alessia were sleeping in their apartment on Avenue Montaigne, one of Paris’ most famous and luxurious streets, when the Italian alleged he was woken up by a man and struck with a knuckle duster before being threatened with a knife, court documents have now revealed.

It’s alleged the man then said: “The watches, the watches”. Donnarumma replied by saying: “I showed him the one on the dressing table, an Audemars Piguet,” with the watches believed to have a value worth more than thousands of euros.
Elefante, meanwhile, told investigators that she was woken up by the attackers who assaulted her and said: “The money, the watches.” She gave them a Cartier watch, jewellery and €2,000 (£1718) in cash.
She was then confronted for the code to the safe, but she didn’t know it and said there was nothing in there anyway: “They got angry thinking that I was lying. They pulled me by the hair and one of them hit me on the thighs. I said I was pregnant but they continued.”

Donnarumma went on to give the robbers the code for the safe, but they discovered that it was empty and nothing was in there.
The thieves are alleged to have taken off with £430,000 worth of luxury items – including jewellery, watches, luxury handbags, keys to a Mercedes and a Lamborghini as well as cash.
Police added the four attackers were able to break into the flat after climbing onto the roof by using a ladder before smashing a window.

Ilyas Kherbouch, 21, and Khyan Mamouni, who are both already in prison, are accused of masterminding and ordering the robbery from their cells. Both deny involvement.
Two of the robbers, who were under the age of 18 when the robbery happened, have already been given jail sentences of three and four years at a youth court.
Moktar Diop, 24, another defendant involved in the attack, admitted to taking part but is not accused of resorting to violence, while a fourth suspect died by suicide in 2024.
