‘I visited the Red Bull pub to attempt the wild new flavour no-one can describe’
EXCLUSIVE: I spent the night at the Red Bull “pub” as one of the first people to try their new Winter Edition flavour, which has left fans with tingling tastebuds and raised eyebrows

I headed along to Red Bull’s “pub” at their London headquarters to become one of the first people to try their new Winter Edition Pistachio and Berries flavour, and couldn’t believe was I was drinking..
Instead of being ushered into a corporate meeting room I walked into what looked exactly like a traditional British boozer, complete with a Red Bull branded bar, darts and enough board games to keep any pub lover occupied.
The bar was stocked with their brand new flavour, which has left many people completely divided as they just can’t pinpoint exactly where one flavour starts and the other begins. It’s one of those ones that seems to send everyone’s taste buds in completely different directions: some reckon they can taste one after the other, some can only pick out one of the two and others get both notes at the same time.

Personally, I thought it was delicious with a sweet, fruity hit first, followed by a creamy, nutty smoothness. I was hesitant when I first heard the new flavour combo but after tasting it, I can confidently say that it perfectly embodies the festive season flavour profile.
Things got even more interesting when we were handed a custom cocktail that looked like a piña colada made for the winter months. It was made from the Winter Edition, tequila and white chocolate liqueur, all finished off with a pistachio rim.

I polished that off and before long it was time to put our pub skills to the test, during which I discovered I might be a general knowledge genius. To put it modestly I absolutely smashed (almost) every round, so if anyone is looking for an extra team member, hit me up…

Sadly, my newfound talent didn’t transition to the dart board where I gave a few measly attempts and barely hit the target. We spent the rest of the evening catching up with old friends and making some new ones with a can of Red Bull Winter Edition Pistachio & Berries in hand.
I’m still not entirely sure exactly how to put the flavour into words, so I can’t wait to see what the rest of the nation thinks once it hits the shelves.
