A firebrand Maga politician slept with three members of her staff and paid one of them $200,000 to keep quiet, it is claimed.
Controversial lawmaker Lauren Boebert, 39, is said to have had inappropriate sexual relationships with two female and one male staffer during office hours and made the whopping payment – the equivalent of £149,381 – after they threatened to report it.
The bombshell allegations were made in a House Ethics Committee complaint. Boebert denied the allegations, fuming: “I’m not a lesbian or bisexual, and I have never, ever been in any inappropriate relationship, nor have I ever been sexually involved with any staff.”

Investigative journalist David Wheeler filed the complaint which said the sexual affairs involved Clarice Navarro, former district director, Raven Finegan, district chief of staff, and Jeffrey Small, Boebert’s former chief of staff.
An alleged sexual relationship between Boebert and Ms Navarro began in 2021 and lasted until she left Boebert’s office in January 2025, it is claimed. Lawmakers are restricted from having intercourse with their staffers under House rules.
The ethics complaint, which was filed on Sept 17, also states Boebert paid Ms Navarro $200,000 after she allegedly threatened to file her own ethics complaint in March 2025.
Mr Wheeler says he has text messages, bank records, recorded conversations and other evidence to support his claims. And in a lengthy response to the Daily Mail, he issued a list of statements from Boebert that he claimed displayed a lack of truthfulness.
He said: “Lauren Boebert clearly has a problem telling the truth and taking responsibility for her actions. We stand 100 percent by our story and sources… my job is to expose Lauren Boebert for the fraud she is with facts.”
A spokesman for Boebert said the allegations were “false” and there was “no truth to them whatsoever”, adding: “This is nothing more than a politically motivated stunt designed to manipulate the ethics process, create headlines, smear her, and generate clickbait.”

The divorced mum-of-four stands on a “family values” ballot. And she previously criticised fellow members of Congress who faced their own sexual misconduct allegations, asking reporters earlier this year: “Why is everybody so horny here?”
In a video posted to social media, she hit out at Mr Wheeler, the founder of investigative journalism group American Muckrakers, who previously published accusations claiming that Boebert previously worked as an escort, which CNN fact check found inaccuracies with.
