The Blame’s Michelle Keegan dubs £27 Charlotte Tilbury serum a ‘non-negotiable’

Michelle Keegan is back onto our screens in the book adaptation The Blame on ITV1, and while the thriller is keeping crime drama fans gripped, we want to know her secret to her ever-flawless complexion. Thankfully, the star of the show has shared three of her top skincare products – and, naturally, they’re from beauty legend Charlotte Tilbury.
Unsurprisingly, the brand’s top-selling Magic Cream and Magic Serum Crystal Elixir, designed to give skin a brighter, more youthful appearance, are among Michelle’s top picks. The actress, who stars in new ITV series The Blame alongside Douglas Booth, previously revealed her beauty regimen on the Charlotte Tilbury Skincare Instagram page, guiding followers through some of the products she uses.
The first item Michelle speaks about is Charlotte’s Magic Serum, priced from £27. This nourishing serum blends ingredients such as 5% niacinamide to enhance skin tone, polyglutamic acid for hydration, and vitamin C to help brighten the complexion. Speaking about the serum on Instagram, Michelle declared: “This is a non-negotiable for me.”

Another of Michelle’s top picks is Charlotte’s Magic Cream, costing £54 – the brand’s best-selling moisturiser that’s formulated to deeply hydrate and leave the skin looking fuller and smoother. Originally concocted by Charlotte Tilbury to prep models’ skin before makeup application, the moisturiser has since become one of the brand’s most renowned skincare products, reports the Mirror.
Charlotte’s Magic Serum Crystal Elixir
The serum has a range of ingredients that are said to offer younger-looking skin.
The luxurious cream is packed with ingredients such as hyaluronic acid and vitamins C and E, which work to moisturise the skin while providing a silky, radiant foundation for makeup application. It should be gently worked into the face and neck during your morning skincare regimen, with this moisturiser being especially ideal for those seeking an extra boost of hydration.
For weary-looking eyes, Michelle also relies on Charlotte Tilbury’s Immediate Eye Revival Patches – which are currently priced at £58 for a jar containing 60 patches, or 30 pairs. These refreshing hydrogel patches are crafted to illuminate and nourish the under-eye region while softening the look of fine lines and diminishing the appearance of puffiness, bags and dark circles in as little as 10 minutes.
They’re enriched with a Bio-Smooth Eye Contour Complex, alongside moisturising components, and feature a stay-put, drip-free design that moulds to the curves beneath the eyes. Having used these patches myself, I will say, however, that they don’t stay put immediately and require some patience for them to almost dry in place. Another shopper noted in a review: “They do slip, and I have to keep re-adjusting them.”
Although once they’re secured, they remain in place. To apply them, customers simply place the patches on clean, dry skin under the eyes, leave them in place for 10 minutes, and peel them away before proceeding with the rest of their skincare or makeup routine.

Michelle’s go-to Charlotte Tilbury products, however, have garnered impressive reviews, with one customer raving about Charlotte’s Magic Serum Crystal Elixir: “I bought the serum with the magic cream, and it has been pure magic for my skin. I am totally in love and, even though it’s a bit above my budget, I will keep using it. It is that good.”
As for Charlotte’s Magic Cream, another fan of the brand added: “It is absolutely a dream to use, it’s super soft and super creamy on the skin. Not everyone was quite as convinced, though, as one buyer noted: “The Charlotte Tilbury Eye Revival Patches feel cooling and tightening. While they did not reduce my dark circles and I didn’t notice significant benefits, they were very hydrating and felt refreshing on my under eyes.”
