Saudi Arabia’s dramatic World Cup clash with Argentina saw a sickening collision involving keeper Mohammed Alowais and team-mate Yasser Al-Shahrani.
As a long ball went forward Alowais caught his team-mate with a flying knee which appeared to knock out his team-mate.
The keeper desperately called for medics to come onto the pitch and though the defender initially stood up he was then taken off on a stretcher.
Al-Shahrani gave a thumbs up as he was stretchered off the pitch.
