Fans go wild as ‘filthy’ Sofiane Boufal skill ‘sends Marcos Llorente to the shops’ as Morocco face Spain with a World Cup quarter-final slot on the line
Football fans have hailed Sofiane Boufal’s outrageous piece of skill to embarrass Marcos Llorente in Morocco’s World Cup clash with Spain.
The Africans are facing Luis Enrique’s side in the last 16 with a quarter-final slot up for grabs at the Qatar tournament.
In the first half, Morocco winger Boufal twisted one way, the other and then back again as his opposite man Llorente was left for dead.

And fans quickly took to social media to hail the ‘filthy’ improvisation and mock the attempts of Atletico Madrid midfielder Llorente, playing out-of-position at right back, to tackle him.
One said: ‘Nah Boufal just sent Llorente back to Atletico omds.’
A second added: ‘BOUFAL MY BROTHER THAT WAS FILTHY!! SENT LLORENTE TO THE SHOPS! #MAR,’ followed by a Moroccan flag.
And fans quickly took to social media (pictured) to hail Boufal and mock his poor opponent
A third posted: ‘Boufal did Llorente so dirty there I love it,’ with a cry-laughing emoji.
One simply tweeted: ‘Boufal,’ and an eyes and fire emoji, with another posting a funny picture of a defender kneeling in prayer in front of superstar wideman Neymar in a comparison between the two situations.
The winner of the Morocco vs Spain clash will face either Portugal or Switzerland in the quarter-final on Saturday afternoon.
