Kate Winslet, Zoe Saldana and Sigourney Weaver all looked glamorous as they led the stars at the Avatar: The Way Of Water world premiere on Tuesday evening.

The three co-stars made sure to capture attention in equally stunning ensembles as they arrived at the glitzy event at Odeon Luxe Leicester Square in London.

Titanic star Kate, 47, looked effortlessly elegant in a figure-hugging grey gown embellished with sparkling silver patterns down each side of the bodice.

Kate, who has newly joined the Avatar franchise as Na’vi warrior Ronal, accessorised her look with a pair of silver droplet earrings.

She styled her curled golden tresses in a loose low-bun and bolstered her natural good looks with a glamorous dusting of make-up.

Meanwhile, Zoe, 44, who plays Neytiri in Avatar, made sure that all eyes were on her as she stepped out in a stunning black gown with a sheer skirt and a sequinned bodice embellished with butterfly patterns.

Sigourney is not returning to the Avatar franchise as her original character Doctora Grace Augustine but her daughter Kiri, who is adopted by Jake (Sam Worthington) and Neytiri (Zoe Saldaña).

The model, 32, looked incredible in a strapless black velvet gown featuring silver jewelled detail around the bodice and a very daring side split, while the train billowed out behind her.

The actor, 46, who plays Jake Sully in Avatar, cut a dapper figure in an all-black ensemble made up of straight leg trousers, a dark shirt and tie and a satin blazer.

Sam has returned to Avatar for the much-anticipated sequel, set for release on December 16, with third and fourth movies also said to be in the works.

The British-Australian star was joined at the world premiere by his wife Lara, 35, who he tied the knot with back in 2014.

Australian model Lara put on a very leggy display in a black hooded gown with a daring side split.

She added a few extra inches to her frame with a pair of buckled platform heels as she put on a smitten display with her husband.

Lara bolstered her striking features with a purple slick of lipstick and a touch of dark bronzer, while she slicked her raven tresses back into an up-do.

The married couple, who share three children together, appeared as smitten as ever as they posed arm-in-arm at the lavish premiere.

Elsewhere, Edith Bowman cut a smart figure in an all-black velvet ensemble for the glitzy premiere.

The Canadian filmmaker, who directed Avatar, sported a well-groomed beard and styled his silver locks in a slicked-back style.

The second movie, titled Avatar 2: The Way of Water, has brought back much of the original cast including Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldaña, Sigourney Weaver and Stephen Lang but also added Kate Winslet and Vin Diesel.

‘Jake Sully lives with his newfound family formed on the planet of Pandora,’ according to the movie’s IMDb page. ‘Once a familiar threat returns to finish what was previously started, Jake must work with Neytiri and the army of the Na’vi race to protect their planet.’

The trailer for Avatar: The Way of Water was released just a month before the film is set for release on December 16.

The trailer begins with members of the Na’vi sitting on the backs of ikrans, flying pterodactyl like beings that take them over a gorgeous waterfall. 

Sam Worthington’s Jake Sully and Zoe Saldaña’s Neytiri take their children to another tribe seeking safe harbor as huge mechanical suits, operated by humans, trample through a forest.

One then learns to ride a giants, underwater eel. It emulates the scene from the first movie when Sam Worthington’s character is taught to ride an ikran. 

Titles cut into scenes of picturesque landscapes refer to the film as ‘The motion picture event of a generation.’

The Na’vi are then put in a perilous situation with humans burning their lands with huge flamethrowers, destroying nearly everything in their paths.

Just weeks ahead of Avatar’s 2 scheduled release, Sam Worthington revealed they have already started filming Avatar 3 and a few scenes of Avatar 4.

The Australian actor, 46, returns in the sequel to 2009’s Avatar as Jake Sully, who has a new family of his own on Pandora.

Avatar: The Way of Water will lead into Avatar 3, currently expected to hit theatres on December 20, 2024.

And Sam revealed on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon that between 80 per cent and 90 per cent of Avatar 3 has already been filmed.

‘We’ve filmed about 80%, 90% of three. We’re still owing some scenes,’ Sam said, which brought a few gasps from those in the crowd.

He also added that there were some scenes already filmed for Avatar 4, simply because they involved kids that would be too old if they waited.

‘And in Four we did a few scenes because the kids were ageing out, so we have to do it before they get a bit older,’ he explained.

He added that there is also a fifth film in the works, ‘if we’re lucky enough to get it,’ adding: ‘We’re not arrogant enough to assume it’s going to connect.’

It comes after James Cameron revealed that the much-anticipated second Avatar film was ‘very f***ing expensive’ to shoot.

Last month, the esteemed director did not give an exact number of how much it cost, but did refer to it as ‘the worst business case in movie history’. 

He told GQ: ‘You have to be the third or fourth highest-grossing film in history. That’s your threshold. That’s your break even.’
