Horny MPs use political trips abroad as boozy sex-filled jaunts, colleagues claim
Tory MPs have reportedly been using political trips abroad as boozy sex-filled trips, it has been alleged.
One former parliamentarian has accused a former Conservative MP, who is now a member of the House of Lords, of asking for directions to the nearest brothel during a visit to Asia.
Another Tory MP “showed an interest in pretty young girls”, according to one of his former colleagues.

The same MP, who also held a ministerial role, is said to have “routinely stayed on after these visits and linked up with young women in the place in question”.
The foreign visits were usually comprised of all-party parliamentary groups (APPG) which are a group of MPs who focus on a specific country or a group of countries.
A former British parliamentarian said the government of one of the visited countries said: “(MPs) see themselves as celebrities in their own lunchtime — they drink and behave badly and arrogantly.
“They’re patronising to fellow politicians, never mind the people around them, the people from (the host country) and unfortunately waiting staff. It’s boorish behaviour.”

The allegations come from “more than a dozen government officials and lawmakers in the U.K. and overseas who verified claims of drunken, lewd or sexual misbehaviour by certain MPs and peers on such trips,” according to POLITICO’s ongoing investigation.
A report released earlier this year by the House of Commons standards committee highlighted that the inappropriate influence provided by APPGs could “represent the next great parliamentary scandal,” but did not directly comment on their works trips abroad.
