WAGs who are joining their partners in England after late summer moves to Premier League

With the summer transfer window set to slam shut on September 1, Premier League clubs have already spent a record amount on new signings, splashing out more than £1.5billion.

Clubs have forked out millions to bring some of the best talent in world football to the Premier League. And while the focus will certainly be on their exploits on the pitch, it is also worth paying mind to the glamorous WAGs will be joining them in England.

Here Daily Star Sport will guide you through some of the new Premier League WAGs that will be adding to glitz and glam of the biggest league in the world.

Lucas Paqueta and Maria Eduarda Fournier

West Ham’s record signing made the switch from Lyon in a bumper deal worth a reported £50m including add-ons and the Brazilian will be joined in London by his stunning wife Maria Eduarda Fournier.

The pair tied the knot four years ago in 2018, with Fournier a YouTuber who has more than 8,500 subscribers as well as almost 300,000 followers on Instagram. Fournier regularly posts pictures of her on holiday with Paqueta and their two children and she will now be cheering on the midfielder at the London Stadium after he joined the Hammers.

“If Paqueta plays well here I think it will be a big, big thing for us because we’ve got one of England’s best footballers here at the moment, maybe two,” West Ham boss David Moyes said of the deal. “We’ve brought them on and they’ve done well. If we can bring a Brazilian player in it will send out a message in Brazil that this is a good place to come.”

Antony and Rosilene Xavier

22-year-old forward Antony has made a stunning move to Manchester United from Ajax in a deal worth around £84m and his childhood sweetheart Rosilene Xavier has also made the switch to England.

The pair met when Antony was playing for Sao Paulo’s youth team and Xavier gave birth to their son, Lorenzo, in November 2019. Antony has been reunited with former Ajax boss Erik ten Hag at Old Trafford and the Brazilian is delighted to be working with the 52-year-old once more.

After it was confirmed that Ten Hag would be joining United, Antony said: “I am thankful all the opportunities and learning every day. Know that I will always stand with you if you need me.”

Casemiro and Anna Mariana

Five-time Champions League winner Casemiro joined the Red Devils from Real Madrid in a £70m transfer and his glamorous wife Anna Mariana will now be cheering him on at Old Trafford.

Mariana met Casemiro while he was still playing in Brazil for Sao Paulo and they tied the knot in 2014 after dating for three years. The couple have two children, daughter Sara and son Caio, and Casemiro has spoken about how the support of his wife helped him decide to leave Madrid.

“After the Champions League final, that first conversation at the end of the cycle came,” he said. “I wanted to thank my wife who was the first to support me in whatever I decided. It’s been nine years here, it’s an important change. My family was with me.”

Sasa Kalajdzic and Lorena Grabovac

Wolves have bolstered their attacking options with the signing of Austrian striker Sasa Kalajdzic from Stuttgart for a reported £15m.

The 6ft 7in forward will be joined at Molineux by his partner Lorena Grabovac, who he regularly posts loved up snaps with on Instagram. Grabovac has more than 3,000 followers on Instagram herself and enjoys sharing snaps of her on holiday with Kalajdzic.

“I’m really thankful and really happy to be here,” Kalajdzic said of his move to Wolves. “In my career, at my age, it’s important to feel where the next step is and, in the end, I had the feeling Wolverhampton is the best step for my development.”
