Tommy Fury ‘may as well not go back to Molly-Mae’ if he loses to Jake Paul
Tommy Fury has far more pressure on his shoulders than Jake Paul going into their highly-anticipated grudge match – with Derek Chisora fearing for the Love Island star’s trip home to see Molly-Mae Hague.
The two-time heavyweight title challenger and stalwart of British boxing has been in the middle of Paul and Fury’s Saudi Arabia preparations – and insisted that the Brit has more to lose.
Speaking exclusively to Daily Star Sport before Paul takes on Fury on BT Sport Box Office this Sunday, Chisora said: “Well it depends how he loses, if he gets sparked out then, Jesus Christ, he ain’t going back to Molly-Mae.”

With Paul coming into the fight with a professional record of 6-0, his most notable wins have come against former UFC champions Tyron Woodley and Anderson Silva.
Fury has won all eight of his professional bouts since his 2018 debut, seeing off Daniel Bocianski back in April as well as Anthony Taylor on a Paul undercard in August of 2021.
Chisora added: “This fight has been brewing for two or three years now and it was always meant to happen, it’s happening now.

“Tommy has got the longest arms in the boxing game, his reach is unbelievable, his boxing IQ I don’t know but he comes from a fighting family.
“With Jake… Jake is heavy handed.”

With Tyson saying that Tommy will have to legally change his name should he lose, Paul actually thinks John is hindering his son’s career.
Tommy said on Sky Sports News this week: “Jake doesn’t know what’s coming to him. If he’s been studying my past fights, it’s going to be completely different on the night.
“Boxing is about skill and class and this man doesn’t have any of it and I have a lot of it, and I’m going to bring him to school on Sunday.”
