Family of Brianna Ghey’s killer Scarlett Jenkinson say ‘sorry’ for her crimes

In an announcement launched to the Warrington Guardian, they mentioned: “The final 12 months have been past our worst nightmares as now we have come to grasp the brutal fact of Scarlett’s actions.

It comes after Jenkinson was sentenced to a minimum term of 22 years imprisonment while Ratcliffe was sentenced to a minimum term of 20 years after the pair were found guilty of murder at Manchester Crown Court in December.

The evil pair had plotted the brutal slaying for months and lured ‘timid’ Brianna to her dying by arranging to satisfy up in a park close to her house.

Footage launched after the sentencing exhibits her leaving her household house in Birchwood, a suburb of Warrington, Cheshire, at 12.45pm, and boarding the bus to the close by village of Culcheth.

She was wearing a brief gray tartan skirt, lengthy white socks and a fluffy white hooded jacket, and carrying a pink and white checked shoulder bag.
