A thief who stole 22 packs of butter whereas additionally serving a suspended jail sentence for making an attempt to steal cheese in a violent store raid has been jailed.
Kieton Pearson, 24 from Houghton, walked out of a Tesco Express in Houghton, Sunderland, with out paying for £95 price of Lurpak butter on December 19 2023.
Last July, Pearson was already serving a suspended jail sentence for threatening to stab the supervisor of a Heron Foods when he was stopped from leaving the shop with ‘a number of items of cheese.’
He finally left the shop with out the cheese and returned a short while later to apologise.
At Newcastle Crown Court, Pearson, admitted to the theft of the butter.
