American dwelling in UK ‘determined to depart’ because of portion sizes – and crumpets

The UK is a sexy place to reside for a lot of, perhaps not on the climate entrance although.

What we do have is sweet grub, glorious banter and regular sized portion sizes that are not going to depart your intestine feeling worse for put on. However, this American who made the transfer throughout the pond two years in the past is considering of going again dwelling to the land of ‘free’.

That’s as a result of they can not stand the likes of the mighty crumpet – the holes confuse them – and have moaned the meals parts aren’t enough. And they particularly had it out for Nando’s.

The American, who admits “so many things in the UK confuse” them, went viral on TikTok about a few of the causes as to why they wish to cross again over the Atlantic.

“Strange things I have noticed living in the UK, what I’ve had to put up with and why I really want to leave,” they defined. In the clip they first received baffled as to why many airports are mentioned to be in London, when in truth, they don’t seem to be.

They blasted: “All British airports pretend to be in London but when you arrive, you need to take trains which actually take hours to get to London.” Though, from Heathrow, you may be in central London approach underneath an hour.

The American continued: “All British style bread in grocery stores here has [sic] really strange massive holes on the top of it meaning that when you put your butter or toppings on it, they fall inside the bread causing problems.”

And what’s the problematic bread they’re speaking about? Crumpets. Our poor harmless little British crumpets.

After focusing on our holy gap bread, they then took intention at Nando’s – calling it “strange” and claiming all British youngsters go on their first date there. But the Nando’s hate did not cease there, the restaurant triggered the American to go off on a rant about UK portion sizes.

And they did not cease there. They then took fault with zebra crossings…

Baffled by the American’s commentary, many individuals fled to the feedback to defend the British staples. Some even inspired the American to depart.

“Nando’s was literally the only thing edible and not overpriced when I was in London for 4 days they need it in USA,” one individual defended. Another blasted: “Leave then.”

While a 3rd jibed: “Also Nando’s is amazing don’t slander Nando’s.” Someone else begged: “The bread one is a joke, right?”

However, others had been supportive of the American’s verdict of the UK. One wrote: “You nailed it.”

A second agreed: “Yeah UK is a sad place.”
