Disney World guests choke on costs of resort restaurant where dinner runs $625 a head
Disney World guests say the theme parks exclusive $625 per person restaurant is an attempt to drive out the middle class for a ‘wealthy only’ environment.
The extravagant Victoria & Albert’s restaurant at the Orlando, Florida park just reopened with new prices skyrocketing by a few hundred.
Their menu advises prices are above $60 per person – but the overall price will depend on the desired tasting and wine menu that can send prices to more than $1,000 for two guests.
‘I was excited to possibly do this for my engagement dinner in December, but $295 pre-tax [and] tip and alcohol is just sadly too much for a young person on a somewhat budget,’ one person wrote on Reddit.
Another person added: ‘This price jump is to keep the messy middle class out,’ one person wrote. ‘Me being the poor bad cattle class.’
Guests can choose one of three dining experiences that vary by price. The most expensive choice is dubbed, Chef’s Table, that includes about 10 courses for $425 per head, according to All Ears
Alcohol paired with the meal adds another whopping $200 to the bill. Minus tax and tip that is already $625 per person.

Guest dining in the restaurants exclusive room called the, Queen Victoria’s Room, can indulge in a 10-course meal starting at $375 per head and another $200 for alcohol.
The most affordable dining option is named after the restaurant itself, the Victoria & Albert’s Dining Room. The seven-course meal starts at $295 per head and an additional $150 for alcoholic drinks, or $110 for a mocktail.
‘What could you possibly get for $110 in mocktails,’ someone wrote on Reddit.
Disney raised the prices of the pricy restaurant following the pandemic. Each dining experience is at least $200 more from the previous prices, according to Disney Food Blog.
The Chef’s Table option increased from $250 to $425 per head. Meanwhile, the Queen Victoria room increased from $235 to $375.
‘My husband and I saved up for two years and went,’ one person wrote on Reddit. It was incredible. I will likely never get another chance but the experience is well worth it.’
‘We ate there back in the 90s for our honeymoon and paid about $100 each. It’s always been on my bucket list to go back again at some point, but not at $455.
Another added: ‘I’ve actually been waiting for this to come back because I wanted to do it and I was expecting a price hike but knowing that it’s doubling in price [has] just kind of made it sour for me.’

Meanwhile, some didn’t seem to worry about the price hike.
‘Not everything Disney has to be attractive or affordable for every person,’ one person wrote on the Reddit thread.
‘I’m wanting to snag a table for my birthday in September! I really hope everything doesn’t get sold out in five seconds,’ another person wrote.
The different dining options offer multiple meal choices from Alaskan King Crab to caviar and salsa verde.
Guests can choose from multiple desert options from Green Apple Baba with Sour Cream Ice Cream to a Peruvian Chocolate Cylinder with Elder Flower Sauce Chocolate and Navan Bubble.
Those who have already indulged in Disney’s fine dining restaurant described the food with being so delicious they almost ‘fell out of their chair.’
‘The attention to detail and the service is unlike anything you’ll get at any other Disney World restaurant,’ touring plans, a Disney park booking company said on TikTok.
Guests are given a menu with more than 500 wines to choose from, along with a menu designated for different water options, the company revealed.
Another duo posted a Tiktok outside of the restaurant imagining what food options they would choose from to start to finish – but they never made it inside.
