Southampton’s stadium shrouded in smoke as large hearth breaks out subsequent to floor
A hearth has damaged out subsequent to Southampton’s St Mary’s Stadium – leaving it shrouded in smoke.
A big plume of smoke may be seen coming from a constructing subsequent to the stadium on Britannia Road and throughout the town centre.
Multiple movies posted throughout social media present a towering black cloud of smoke. The BBC have described the blaze as ‘immense’ and mentioned that “pops” could possibly be heard.
The hearth is alleged to be affecting a warehouse on Melbourne Street reverse the stadium’s south stand. Fire crews are on the scene and tackling the blaze with a cordon in place.
