On the Beach Holiday have joked they’re the new sponsors of Manchester United – who are also ‘on the beach’.

“Delighted to announce after very short negotiations we’ve agreed to be the new sponsors of Manchester United for the rest of this season (now they’re clearly on the beach)…”
“Were they sponsored by Google Maps for the other half of the season? As they have been looking for a way into the oppositions half,” one fan joked. And another added: “They’re already on their holidays so it’s fitting…”

However, On the Beach Holidays then clarified: “Legal said we have to make it clear that we’re in fact NOT the new Manchester United shirt sponsor and this IS just a joke…”
Erik ten Hag’s side are currently eighth in the Premier League, and they could be facing a season without European football next time out. The Red Devils are six points from Tottenham Hotspur and a whopping 13 from Aston Villa, who are in fourth.
United can still qualify for Europe via the Premier League, but they will be gambling with other sides above them dropping points. The most realistic route into Europe for Ten Hag and Co could be by beating local rivals Manchester City in the FA Cup final at the end of the month.
The winner of the FA Cup books a spot in the Europa League, unless they’ve already qualified for the Champions League.
