Jack Grealish leads Man City get together as he stumbles out of bar at 5am
Jack Grealish led Manchester City’s celebrations into the early hours of this morning after his side secured an historic fourth successive Premier League title.
The star was seen sporting a £2,000 outfit and posted a video of him singing Natasha Bedingfield’s Unwritten as the party at Greek restaurant went on until 5am.
Players from Rodri to Kevin De Bruyne were seen looking worse for wear as they stumbled out with minders following the celebratory meal at Fenix in Manchester.
It followed a 3-1 win over West Ham United to complete City’s sixth league success in seven seasons under their manager Pep Guardiola on a sunny Sunday afternoon.
The battle for top spot went down to the final day but the reigning champions held their nerve, where they could not afford a slip-up with Arsenal breathing down their necks. Phil Foden‘s double got City off to a dream start and, having been shaken by Mohammed Kudus’s goal for the Hammers, a driven Rodri effort completed the win.
Grealish wore the striking Gucci suit – a brand for which he is an ambassador – to the dinner and later posted a clip on his Instagram Stories of him singing the lyric ‘the rest is still unwritten’, while holding a drink and showing off his winner’s medal.
Along with the players, many supportive partners attended the event, smiling at the success. Phil Foden’s girlfriend Rebecca Cooke was there, while Rico Lewis was also seen holding hands with his partner, and Pep Guardiola’s wife Cristina was pictured.
There were wild scenes at the final whistle at 6pm yesterday as jubilant fans stormed the pitch at the Etihad Stadium and flares were let off outside pubs in the city.
A 23-game unbeaten run extinguished Arsenal’s hopes of their first Premier League title since the Gunners’ Invincible season in 2003/04 as Mikel Arteta‘s side missed out by two points. Third place went to Liverpool in Jurgen Klopp’s final game.

At Manchester City, Phil Foden struck twice early on as the team secured the Premier League title with a convincing 3-1 win over West Ham.
There were few signs of last-day nerves from Pep Guardiola’s dominant side, although a spectacular effort from Mohammed Kudus just before half-time at the Etihad Stadium did give rivals Arsenal brief hope.
Yet that was soon extinguished as Rodri drove home City’s third.
The victory ensured they could not be caught by the second-placed Gunners regardless of their result against Everton.
Arsenal had needed a favour from West Ham, who were already confirmed in ninth place and were playing out the final match of David Moyes’ second spell as manager.
With City having shown little sign throughout the run-in of pressure affecting them, only optimistic Arsenal supporters were expecting them to slip up.

It took less than two minutes to dash even their hopes as City powered out of the traps to put the matter beyond all reasonable doubt.
With the sun blazing down and their player of the season Foden at his magical best, they did it in style.
Foden took a Bernardo Silva pass on the right and cut inside, skipping past a challenge from James Ward-Prowse and drilling a left-foot shot into the top corner from the edge of the box.
The atmosphere had already been buoyant but it was at this point the party really seemed to begin and City revelled in the occasion.
West Ham, without Jarrod Bowen due to tonsillitis, could do little to repel the hosts and it seemed only a matter of time before they doubled their lead as Jeremy Doku twice tested Alphonse Areola.
Rodri also lashed an effort wide but the second goal duly arrived on 18 minutes as Doku pulled the ball across the box and Foden swept home with a first-time shot.

Erling Haaland looked set to add another but Konstantinos Mavropanos did just enough to put him off as he shaped to shoot before Areola also denied the Norwegian.
The Hammers stirred before the break as Kudus forced a save from Stefan Ortega and then pulled one back with a stunning overhead strike.
It came following a corner as the ball struck Tomas Soucek and was flicked up into the air, with Kudus reacting instinctively to connect with a powerful bicycle kick.
With news filtering through soon after that Arsenal had equalised against Everton, to some the seeds for second-half drama may have been planted, but in reality there was little chance.
Haaland fired narrowly over and Kevin De Bruyne shot just wide soon after the break.
City tightened their grip and West Ham had seen little of the ball when Rodri powerfully guided home City’s third from the edge of the box just before the hour.
There seemed little motivation from West Ham to respond and City calmly stroked the ball around.
Haaland went close to adding another when the ball glanced off his shoulder and flew inches wide.

Some hearts may have been in mouths when Soucek put the ball into the net two minutes from time but it clearly struck his arm and was disallowed by VAR.
City saw out five minutes of stoppage time without alarm and the celebrations began in earnest with thousands of fans ignoring requests to keep off the pitch.
But after the game, Guardiola cast doubt over his long-term Manchester City future after admitting he is running out of things to achieve.
“In terms of numbers, nobody has been better than us – the records, the goals, the points and four in a row,” said Guardiola, who praised Arsenal counterpart Arteta and departing Liverpool boss Klopp.
“If I land here tomorrow and you say I will win six Premier Leagues in seven years, I would say ‘Are you crazy?’. It’s impossible. We have done something unbelievable.
“Six Premier Leagues in seven years, in this country with the modern football and the teams and everything. The teams and the organisation surprises me, it’s an incredible club.”
This is Guardiola’s 12th league title in 15 top-flight seasons as a manager and he is looking to add another FA Cup to his CV in next weekend’s Wembley final against rivals Manchester United.
The double would come hot on the heels of last season’s treble, leaving the City boss – whose deal runs out in 2025 – running out of things to motivate him.
“The reality is I’m closer to leaving than to staying,” Guardiola told Sky Sports. “It’s eight years, will be nine.

“Right now my feeling is I want to stay next season. We talked with the club, we have time to talk next season because I have to see the players as well, (to see) if they follow me, they follow us, for many reasons. I will stay and during the season we will talk when calm.”
Asked in the press conference if he feels like he has completed English football and what he felt was left to achieve, Guardiola shrugged his shoulders and said: “I had that feeling last season.
“When we won in Istanbul (in the Champions League final) I said, ‘It’s over, what am I doing here? It’s over, there’s nothing left’.
“But I have a contract, I’m here and still enjoying. Some of the moments I’m a bit tired but some of the moments I love, and after I said ‘OK, we are here’.
“(We) start winning games, looking good, different players, new players and I start to think about, ‘No-one has done four in a row, why don’t we try?’ And now I feel ‘It’s done, so what next?’ I don’t know right now.
“I know next is the FA Cup. Gary Lineker said to me, I didn’t know, that no team has done back-to-back Premier Leagues and FA Cups.
“It is our rivals and now what I want is for my players is to enjoy this two, three days, then we have two days to prepare the final.”

In North London, Arsenal claimed a late 2-1 win over Everton on the final day but suffered title heartbreak for a second season in a row.
City’s 3-1 victory at home to West Ham crowned them Premier League champions and rendered the Gunners’ result against Everton meaningless.
The chances of any last-day jeopardy appeared minimal from the outset, but were reduced even further when City went two up early on before Idrissa Gueye’s deflected free-kick in the 40th minute put the visitors ahead at the Emirates.
Takehiro Tomiyasu levelled three minutes later, which was around the time West Ham reduced the deficit at the Etihad, but there would be no dramatic twist in the title race.
A tap-in by Kai Havertz with 89 minutes on the clock did at least ensure the Gunners finished a brilliant season with a 28th league win to show further signs of progress under Mikel Arteta, who will attempt to help his squad go one better next season.
Arsenal had hoped for a favour from rivals Tottenham on Tuesday night, but City’s 2-0 win a few miles up the road ensured Pep Guardiola’s men went into the final day as league leaders.
Nevertheless, a party atmosphere greeted the players onto the pitch despite the absence of Bukayo Saka due to a slight muscle strain.
Havertz signalled the Gunners intent when he drilled over during the first minute, but the partisan feeling around the Emirates dissipated when news filtered through that Phil Foden had put City ahead inside two minutes.
While the crowd went flat, Arsenal stuck to the task at hand and Tomiyasu headed wide before Declan Rice was denied by Jordan Pickford, who then produced a superb reaction save to prevent Seamus Coleman putting through his own net.

Gabriel Martinelli, recalled in place of Saka, was the next to be thwarted by Pickford after he got down low to save q stinging effort, but needed captain Coleman to mop up the loose ball.
As whispers of another City goal echoed around the stadium, it was met with a roar of defiance but Everton almost took the lead in the 31st minute.
Gueye led the counter-attack and found Dominic Calvert-Lewin, who fired against the post before he sent his follow up shot into the side-netting.
Some Everton fans thought that was in but they were able to celebrate nine minutes later.
Gueye saw his 25-yard free kick deflect off Rice’s head to leave David Raya with no chance in the Arsenal goal.
It was starting to go horribly wrong at the Emirates, but a dramatic turn of events before half-time provided hope for Arteta’s team.
First, Tomiyasu levelled after 43 minutes with a smart finish after a trademark Martin Odegaard cut-back before the decibel levels of the home crowd went up a notch when West Ham pulled one back against City.

Further cheers followed minutes later as a section of Arsenal fans thought it was 2-2 at the Etihad.
It proved a false dawn and yellow cards were more frequent than shots at the start of the second half, while City soon grabbed a third in Manchester.
Arteta got the crowd engaged again with 21 minutes left when summer signing Jurrien Timber was sent on for his first appearance since August due to a serious knee injury.
It helped give Arsenal a second wind as Pickford denied Odegaard before substitute Emile Smith Rowe smashed a volley onto the crossbar.
The winner did arrive with a minute left when Gabriel Jesus latched on to Ashley Young’s poor pass and found Odegaard, who teed up Havertz to fire in from close range for his 14th goal of the season.
Cheers had broken out seconds earlier as West Ham briefly made it 3-2 at the Etihad, but as Arsenal fans celebrated, VAR ruled out the Tomas Soucek effort against City for handball.
It once and for all ended the Gunners’ title charge, but they held on to push City all the way.
Meanwhile, there were emotional scenes in Liverpool as they sent departing manager Jurgen Klopp on his way with a 2-0 victory over 10-man Wolves as the Anfield faithful finally bade an emotional farewell to their beloved boss after eight and a half years.
Klopp was dressed cap-to-trainers in funereal black for his 491st and final game but, while there were tears, the atmosphere was nothing but celebratory.

The Kop restored some of the old favourites to their songbook, hailing some of the now-departed greats – Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane, Georginio Wijnaldum, Jordan Henderson, Divock Origi – of the manager’s reign.
However, fittingly it was two players who represent the longer-term future of Liverpool – Alexis Mac Allister signed last summer in a midfield revamp and 21-year-old centre-back Jarell Quansah – who scored the goals after Nelson Semedo was sent off.
After almost nine years of stability there is uncertainty ahead at almost every turn as the majority of the backroom staff will leave with Klopp and the likes of 30-somethings Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk and Trent Alexander-Arnold entering the final year of their contracts.
There is plenty for incoming Feyenoord boss Arne Slot to deal with but he has at least been left with a squad which, but for a two-week blip in April, would probably have been in the final-day title picture instead of providing the support act to Klopp’s Anfield farewell.
The records he leaves are almost too numerous to mention but, aside from seven major trophies, include Liverpool’s longest unbeaten league run at home – three years and 272 days between 2017 and 2021.
“This is the season we aimed for the moon and ended up in the stars,” Klopp wrote in his programme notes.
“This is a club that is ready to take the journey in a new and exciting direction, not one that is ready for the journey to come to an end.”
But this was very much a celebration of the recent past with the name of the manager, noticeably less animated on the touchline, sung constantly.
The match did not really spring into life until the 28th minute when Semedo was sent off for an over-the-top challenge on Mac Allister after VAR David Coote advised referee Chris Kavanagh to view the pitchside monitor.
Wolves want Premier League clubs to vote this summer on abolishing VAR but they could have had little argument with that one.

Mac Allister exacted his revenge six minutes later, rising between centre-backs Santiago Bueno and Max Kilman to head home Harvey Elliott’s inswinging cross.
When Wataru Endo’s shot was tipped around a post by Jose Sa, Alexander-Arnold whipped in the corner, Cody Gakpo flicked it on to Salah at the far post and his shot deflected up off Bueno for Quansah to force the ball home on the line.
Van Dijk’s shoulder-to-shoulder challenge on Matheus Cunha had Wolves screaming for a penalty but there was no referral.
The only thing missing to round off the perfect send-off was a goal for Salah, the talisman of the German’s era at Anfield with 211 goals in 349 appearances.
It was not for want of trying, however, as he was thwarted by Sa and Kilman late in the first half and then three times again by the goalkeeper after the break.
When Luis Diaz turned Gakpo’s cross onto the crossbar, rebounding down onto the line, Klopp pulled his baseball cap over his eyes and flashed that beaming smile of his.
Gakpo and Mac Allister also had chances in a second-half procession but that mattered less than a first clean sheet in 16 matches, secured by Alisson Becker’s save from Pedro Neto’s free-kick.
Klopp leaves with the highest win percentage – 62 per cent – any Liverpool manager in charge for more than 30 matches and the first to win his final game since Matt McQueen in 1928.
But it will be the memories, the emotional journey, which fans will remember than the trophies and statistics as the whole ground – including owners John W Henry and Tom Werner – stood to applaud as his name was chanted non-stop for the final 10 minutes of his tenure.
