Bagpipe participant tumbles off desk as Tartan Army drink Munich dry at Euro 2024

Hoards of Scots have descend on Munich ahead of the Scotland v Germany Euro 2024 game, bringing their drinking game with them, as one bagpipe player topples off a table during Tartan Army revelry

A Scottish bagpipe player took a tumble as the Tartan Army’s revelry got rowdy inside a Munich bar ahead of their big Euro 2024 opening game against Germany.

It’s estimated up to 200,000 Scots will flock to the Bavarian capital, as the country faces off against the host nation at 8pm tonight (Friday, June 14).

As the Scots get into the spirit of things, hilarious footage captured the moment a bagpipe player toppled off a table amidst a throng of boozed-up supporters chanting and cheering for Scotland.

The camera pans to capture a kilted-up bagpipe player pushing out a tune while standing on as table. The piper missteps as he tries to step down from his perch, toppling backwards onto the floor as drinkers rush to catch him and a cheer erupts.

The Tartan Army were also captured erupting into a plane-wide rendition of a 70s disco track as football fans made their way to Germany.

And judging by these photos from Munich, Scottish antics are only gearing up.
