‘Mud-smeared’ funding banker ‘had intercourse with tree after shoving soil in lingerie’

An investment banker allegedly pulled down his pants before starting to ‘have sex with a tree’ just metres away from London’s iconic Albert Memorial. earlier this year.

Westminster Magistrates Court heard 30-year-old Paolo Bollag stripped off in Kensington Gardens before committing a series of ‘lewd acts’. Bollag is also accused of loading his underwear with soil and rubbing his crotch.

The banker then allegedly began ‘thrusting’ into a tree. Bollag, who lives in the nearby Queen’s Gate Place where houses sell for as much as £5m, appeared in court only to confirm his name and age as well as denying the charge of ‘outraging public decency’.

He is now due to appear at a crown court trial before a jury at a later date after receiving bail, with the only condition being that he does not enter the park again.

The picturesque green space which sits just a short walk away from Kensington Palace houses more than 3,000 trees over 242 acres of land. The park’s website says it has an “awesome spectacle of the tree avenues, where veteran trees ground the visitor in times past”.

The investment manager currently works at Oakley Capital, according to his LinkedIn profile, with his role involving “supporting entrepreneurs and management teams with a core focus on software, tech-enabled services and consumer internet.”

The same profile states is part of a team who founded an investor network called ‘6NINE26’.

He is due to appear at Southwark Crown Court next month.
