Elon Musk gloats over Microsoft outage by taking a swipe at tech large on X
Tech tycoon, Elon Musk couldn’t resist taking the mick out of Microsoft after a major outage sent the world into meltdown.
The Tesla and SpaceX billionaire reposted one of his old tweets from 2021 where he stated “Macrohard >> Microsoft.”
It implied that the fictitious business, Macrohard performed better than the tech giant. The post simply captioned “…” was viewed and liked thousands of times and set off a string of responses.

One user posted: “Gearing up for the cyber pandemic.”
Another wrote: “Elon Musk is right again. Starting to think Elon Musk and Donald Trump are the same person They are always right about everything.”
While one commented: “X >> Twitter.”
But not content on leaving it there, Musk later reposted a meme with a crying laughing face emoji.
The meme was captioned: “When everything else is down, this app still works.”
One replied: “Elon DOES NOT have a blue screen!”
Another added: “Going to be the king of social media.”
It comes as media companies, airlines, banks, hospitals and supermarkets have been affected by the global tech glitch which hit last night.
Millions of Windows users worldwide are encountering the Blue Screen of Death, causing computers to shut down or restart unexpectedly.
Many speculated it could be the start of World War 3, while others blamed Russia and even aliens.
Meanwhile, it has emerged that Living Nostradamus predicted “three days of darkness” for 2024 as the world teeters on the brink of cyber warfare.
The trained parapsychologist foresaw the coronavirus pandemic, Elon Musk buying Twitter, Queen Elizabeth’s death and even the Euro’s result.
Earlier this year, the 36-year-old told MailOnline the advancements in warfare such as Electromagnetic Pulse technology (EMP) could have devastating effects on the world.
He explained that the blackout he predicted for 2024 alludes to trials involving EMP technology and escalating tensions between war -torn countries potentially paving the way for large scale conflict akin, to a Third World War.
Microsoft 365 has released a statement indicating that they are actively investigating the issue, though no timeline for resolution has been provided.
“Our services are still seeing continuous improvements while we continue to take mitigation actions,” they said on X this morning.
“We still expect that users will continue to see gradual relief as we continue to mitigate the issue.”
