Woman, 19, arrested after automobile with youngsters inside was ‘set alight’

A 19-year-old woman has been arrested after a car was ‘deliberately set alight’ with two defenceless children sat inside.
The horrifying incident occurred at around 10.52pm on Thursday in Tong Way, Leeds.
According to West Yorkshire Police, the mother reported her car had been deliberately torched while her two youngsters were still in the vehicle.
She and a neighbour took the children to safety and where they were checked over by ambulance staff with no concerns found, the force said.
A 19-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of arson and has since been released on bailed pending further enquiries.
