Huge earthquake sparks tsunami warning as map exhibits precise location set for waves
Japan has been issued with a tsunami warning.
A map shows waves are expected to batter a huge length of the country’s entire Pacific coastline.
One region should expect an “immediate attack”, with News TV Asahi reporting Tanegashima and Yakushima are to be hit by a one-metre high tsunami.
Scientists are still gathering data on when five more regions will be battered by the Pacific Ocean.
They include:
- Kochi Prefecture
- Bungo Channel coast, Oita Prefecture
- Miyazaki Prefecture
- Eastern Kagoshima Prefecture
According to the data shares, those in Uwa Sea coast, Ehime Prefecture should anticipate the tsunami to hit at 5.10pm (local time).
