Helen Flanagan broke down in sobs as she opened up about her relationship with her ex Scott Sinclair during Wednesday’s episode of Celebs Go Dating.
The actress, 34, revealed she felt ‘invisible’ during her relationship with the footballer and fears no man will ever love her again.
The former Coronation Street star, 34, split from her footballer fiance, 35, who she shares three children with in 2022 after 13 years together.
Talking to the dating agents Anna Williamson and Dr Tara Suwinyattichaiporn, Helen candidly explained: ‘So I was with my ex… for about 13 years and we split about two years ago.
‘I think it was just we weren’t right or compatible any more. I always used to feel quite invisible with Scott as if I was fighting for his attention.’

She added: ‘The arguments we would have were just really sad’.
Helen shares children Matilda, nine, Delilah, six, and son Charlie, three, with her ex, and the star also confessed she fears no man will ever love her again due to her being a single mum.
Struggling through her tears she continued: ‘I don’t know if I feel like anyone’s going to really love me.
‘I know my ex treated my bad but I knew he really loved me and I just feel like I don’t know if because I have three kids if any man is going to see me as anything more than just sex.
‘I think it is my insecurity of being rejected. or a guy thinking “oh she’s fit but I’m never gonna wife her because she’s got three kids”.’
It comes after Helen broke down in tears as she discussed her split from ex-Scott on Loose Women earlier this month.
The actress appeared on the show alongside her former co-stars Sally Dynevor and Sue Cleaver, as well as presenters Kaye Adams and Denise Welch.
When asked if she believes in a ‘happy ever after‘, Helen said: ‘I was with my ex Scott since I was 19 and he was like my world. I always thought we were going to be together. Always.’

Discussing mental health, Denise said: ‘I just know that you really struggled – could you just take us through because you had a breakdown, a real psychotic breakdown.’
Fighting back tears and clutching Sally’s hand for support, Helen – who played Sally’s daughter Rosie Webster on the ITV soap – replied: ‘Gosh, I didn’t think I would get so emotional today!’
‘I didn’t really want to talk about it but the reason I did was because I was about to do a six-month theatre tour, so that’s why I spoke about it.’
Speaking on signing up for Celebs Go Dating, Helen said: ‘I’ve loved it, so much fun. I think you just have to be open-minded and it was a great way to spend the summer.’
‘But I think it would take someone really special to introduce them to my children.’
Helen previously opened up on her personal heartbreak following her split.
While struggling with her emotions, she also had a frightening reaction to her ADHD medication that plunged her into psychosis.
‘I really wasn’t very well,’ she recalls now. ‘Basically, I was struggling with my mental health around December and January, so I took my medication to try to make me feel better, and then unfortunately it just made things worse.’
It took weeks for Helen to recover during which she was forced to withdraw from a touring production of Cluedo that she’d hoped would mark a return to the dramatic spotlight.
She was eventually replaced by her former co-star and Strictly Come Dancing winner Ellie Leach, but will make her comeback on Celebs Go Dating instead.
