Heartbreaking photographs of Hannah Lynch shared by household as shipwrecked physique discovered

Tributes have been paid to teenager Hannah Lynch, the daughter of british billionaire Mike Lynch. The 18-year-old’s body was recovered earlier today.

Hannah, who had recently landed a place at Oxford University to study English Literature, had a “ferocious intelligence”, according to her classmates at Latymer Upper School in West London, the Mail reported. Hannah was also described as “one of our brightest stars whose future held so much promise”.

Both Hannah, her father and five others were killed during the sinking of the superyacht the Bayesian. The 56-metre vessel was carrying 22 passengers and crew and was anchored off the port of Porticello when it suddenly capsized amid a horror storm.

Hanna was due to study at Oxford University

Heartbreaking photos were released by her family after her body was spotted by divers this morning around the wreckage of the superyacht. The body of her dad was recovered on Thursday afternoon as a total of seven people were confirmed dead following the sinking.

The Italian Coastguard said the sixth and final missing person had been located on the sunken Bayesian on Friday. Vincenzo Zagarola, of the Italian Coastguard, said the search for Hannah has not been “easy or quick”, comparing the sunken yacht to an “18-storey building full of water”.

Hannah’s friend Katya Lewis said: “The love Hannah had for everything she held dear was passionate and pure. She had a warm and beautiful soul. Being with Hannah made me feel whole and happy. She is the most special friend anyone could ask for and I will always love Hannah.”

Hannah and Mike Lynch both died

Fellow classmate Gracie Lea added: “When I think of Hannah, I think of poetry, sunshine, and her beautiful eyes. She was easy to love: sincere, dedicated, fiercely intelligent and genuinely kind. I’ll always remember her smiling.”

Latymer’s Head of English Jon Mitropoulos-Monk said Hannah was “one of the best English students in the country” and she “lit up the classroom with her energy, passion for learning and sheer intelligence”.

Morgan Stanley International bank chairman Jonathan Bloomer, his wife Judy Bloomer, Clifford Chance lawyer Chris Morvillo and his wife Neda Morvillo were lost when the yacht sank at around 5am local time on Monday. The body of Canadian-Antiguan national Recaldo Thomas, who was working as a chef on the superyacht, was also recovered at the scene of the sinking on Monday.
