Woman arrested on suspicion of homicide after little one discovered lifeless at house
A woman has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a child was found dead at a home in South Wales.
Police are probing the ‘suspicious’ death after officers were rushed to a house in the Gendros area of Swansea last night.
There, they tragically found the body of the child.
South Wales Police said the woman, 41, and youngster lived at the address together.
The force said the 41-year-old has been arrested on suspicion of murder and that they were not looking for anyone else in connection to the youngster’s tragic death.

Emergency services were rushed to Cwm Du Close around 8.30pm yesterday.
Chief Superintendent Chris Truscott, divisional commander for Swansea and Neath Port Talbot, said: ‘This is a distressing incident which will be a shock to the local community.
‘Detectives are working to establish the circumstances of the child’s death and there will be an increased police presence in the area to offer reassurance to local residents.
‘Speculation on social media is unhelpful and will cause distress to those affected by this incident at an already difficult time.’
