Shocking second motorist drives off with highway rage rival on his bonnet

This is the shocking moment a road rage driver speeds away with his rival desperately clinging onto his car bonnet.

The men were seen squaring up to each other on Honeypot Lane, Kingsbury near Harrow, London, on Sunday.

One of them got into a black Suzuki SX4 while the other person filmed the incident, which seemed to enrage the driver.

The driver then drove the hatchback into the man, who was forced to cling on to the front of the car until it eventually came to a stop. But amazingly, he managed to carry on filming the incident.

Another road user captured the bizarre scenes in a 33-second video on his mobile phone.

‘Oh my.’

The onlooker chuckled and added: ‘More road rage…just don’t stop, more road rage.’

Locals reacted with shock at the road rage row.

Vid Singh said: ‘Madness.’

Another added: ‘Remember, no one hates drivers more than other drivers.

‘They go nuts the second they get behind the wheel.

‘It just shows that too many men can’t be trusted to drive.’

Anita Gough said: ‘Why can’t people take responsibility for their actions.’

Jass added: ‘When the argument escalates so much, one bloke drives off.

According to a report from safety charity IAM RoadSmart, aggression on UK roads is getting worse.

The research shows that 78 per cent of drivers claim other motorists have threatened them.

Also, 60 per cent of drivers surveyed said they believed aggressive cyclists are a bigger problem now and a further 63 per cent of drivers said they thought aggressive motorists have become more of a problem.

Also, Department for Transport (DfT) figures reveal that one in 12 of the 1,339 deaths on Britain’s roads in 2021 were linked to aggressive behaviour.
