Model who married herself receives 1,500 proposals simply weeks after her divorce
A model who married herself has claimed she’s been swamped with 1,500 marriage proposals after she divorced herself.
Suellen Carey, who made waves for ditching her solo vows due to being “fed up” with her own company, has been bombarded with love since going public about her split.
The 36-year old stunner, originally hailing from Brazil but now a Londoner, said she’s been showered with more than 30 bouquets and is gobsmacked by the avalanche of proposals.

“I’ve received more than 30 bouquets in the past few days, and I must say I’m shocked by the sheer number of marriage proposals,” revealed Suellen, whose social media video explaining her sologamous split has gone viral with over 75,000 views.
“I never imagined that by announcing the end of my sologamy, I would attract so many potential suitors from around the world. I am now more in demand than the nights of London.”
“I don’t even know where to put all the bouquets.”
Despite the self-wedding being a toast to self-love, Suellen found the reality lonelier than expected.

She said: “It was a beautiful experience, but being married to myself had its challenges. I thought I would love it, but in the end, loneliness weighed heavier than I expected.
“Being in a relationship with only myself was more difficult than I imagined.”
Now, Suellen’s ready to mingle, armed with newfound self-awareness.
She declared: “When you truly get to know yourself, you realise that being in a relationship only makes sense when you’re fully prepared for it.”
“I am now a lot more selective. I never imagined that, when I divorced myself, so many unexpected things would happen.

“But I also feel ready for a relationship with someone else.”
In a video on her Instagram, Suellen, boasting some 450,000 followers, is seen chatting to the cam clutching a lovely bouquet.
The influencer spilled the beans on receiving a whopping 1,500 marriage proposals and countless flower deliveries to her doorstep.
Her post comes with an attached screen recording displaying the avalanche of messages she’s been getting.
