Romeo Beckham joins dad David on the Inter Miami match

Romeo Beckham joined his father David at the Inter Miami vs. New York City match on Saturday.

The former Brentwood player, 22, cut a casual figure for the game as he stepped out in a Juice film T-Shirt which featured the words ‘Power respect juice’ – a reference to the 1992 American crime thriller.

The father-son outing comes just weeks after he reportedly left his Premier League football club to focus on a career in fashion.

Romeo paired his Tupac top with a pair of long denim short  and black high-top Converse.

To accessorise, Romeo cut a trendy figure with a backward cap, a silver chain and gold earrings.

Opting for a more professional look for the match, former Manchester United star, David, 49, opted for a navy suit which bared a Inter Miami crest on the pocket.

He layered his team’s suit with a pale blue shirt, navy tie and a pair of black suit shoes.

David and Romeo appeared in happy spirits despite the teams draw 1-1 at the New York ground.

Inter Miami scored the first goal of the game as Leonardo Campana put the ball in the back of the net during the 75th minute.

But New York City equalised the match in the 95th minute as James Sands evened the field.

It comes amid reports Romeo has decided to pursue a completely new career.

According to The Sun, the midfielder was offered a new contract by Brentford FC in June to stay on with their B team.

But it appears Romeo was hoping to follow in his mother’s footsteps as he signed with top Paris fashion agency Safe Management.

Romeo is no stranger to the world of fashion, having starred in a Burberry campaign when he was just two years old and he is regularly seen showing off his style sense at A-list events.

A source said: ‘Romeo has decided to hang up his football boots and devote his time to his fashion career.

‘He has loved his time at Brentford but needs to focus his attention on fashion, which is where his passion lies.

‘Romeo has recently signed with a top fashion agent in Paris and has his sights set on working with some massive brands.’

MailOnline previously contacted representatives of Romeo Beckham for comment.

A promising prospect in his youth, Romeo drifted away from football after being released by Arsenal in 2015 and turned his attention towards a career in tennis.

However, Romeo would announce he intended on a return to football in 2020 before joining dad David’s MLS franchise Inter Miami the following year.

Romeo would go on to make 26 appearances for the club’s reserve side, netting twice and notching 10 assists in the MLS Next Pro league during his final season in the USA before joining Brentford B on loan in January 2023.
