One of Britain’s fastest-growing drinks brands has made its first ever profit as fans including Victoria Beckham help push annual sales to £35million.
Dash Water, which was set up in 2017 and uses wonky fruit rejected by supermarkets to flavour sparkling water without sugar, is set to post pre-tax profits of £74,900 for 2024.
And in what could provide a further boost, Beckham has recruited the company to make ‘Posh’ branded cans for her show at Paris Fashion Week on Friday.
Beckham – known as Posh in the Spice Girls – drinks as many as six cans of Dash’s raspberry flavoured drink every day and insists her PA flies it to wherever she is in the world.
Co-founder Jack Scott, who set the business up with Alex Wright, said she has been a fan ‘for many years’.
Dash is on target to bring in £35million in revenues in 2024.
Backers include former Manchester United captain Patrice Evra and City figure David Milner, who ran pet food business Lily’s Kitchen.
