Inside Madelene Wright’s footie comeback as glam star continues to wow on Insta

Madelene Wright isn’t your average footballer.

The blonde bombshell took time away from the game not too long ago – cultivating an online audience for her sultry snaps as she carved a new career path.

However, football remained an itch that needed to be scratched for the stunner, and four years after she was sacked by Charlton Athletic, Madelene returned to the game that she loved as a youngster.

Madelene had started her career with Millwall, but it was after moving to London rivals Charlton, the blonde stunner would see her career derailed as videos emerged of her appearing to drink behind the wheel and inhaling nitrous oxide.

In response to the video, Charlton made the bold decision to terminate the player’s contract. In a club statement, the club admitted they were “disappointed with the behaviour which doesn’t represent the standards the team upholds.”

The Addicks said that Madelene was “remorseful”, and emphasised that they would provide the under-fire player with “support” despite her time as a player being over.

And so Madelene walked away from the game, launching her own page on X-rated side OnlyFans – the stunner even admitted she had made almost £500,000 from selling raunchy content.

With her contract ripped up, she joked OnlyFans changed her life, with the money raked in from her content allowing her to travel the world and live extravagantly, while earning fame on Instagram.

However, in 2023, Madelene made a shock return to the sport with Leyton Orient. She wrote on Instagram: “4 years out the game… Sometimes you have to take a step back, rebuild and go again even harder.

“I’m far from perfect but I don’t live in my past. Here’s to more hard work, discipline and determination. Onto the next.” She found the net on her debut, but would again leave the club at the end of the season.

“To the club that supported me and allowed me to return to football after 4 years out I want to say a massive thank you,” she said on social media.

“For myself, the hard work continues…Thank you O’s.”

It wouldn’t take long for Madelene to find a new team, and days after her Leyton Orient exit she would pen-to-paper on a deal with Chesham United FC Women.

She gushed: “A massive personal achievement for myself after such a big break from football to be back playing in a competitive league and to have jumped up 3 tiers higher, another step closer. I’m feeling very grateful for the opportunity and even more excited for the future with this club.”
