Horrifying second automobile ploughs into crowd throughout brawl exterior membership

Harrowing footage showing the moment a car ploughed into a crowd at a club’s Freshers’ Night leaving six people injured has emerged for the first time.
A group of men were embroiled in a mass brawl when they were hit by a vehicle outside The Tunnel Club – one of Birmingham‘s longest-running nightclubs – at around 3am on October 4.
Hundreds of people had gathered at the popular nightspot in the city centre before the horror unfolded.
Mobile phone camera footage, obtained by the Birmz Is Grime blog, captured the violent disorder erupting on the street while terrified onlookers can be heard screaming.
The beginning of the alarming clip appears to show a man lying on the floor next to a car while a group kicks and punches him.
A horn can then be heard blaring as the vehicle reverses before it drives forward and appears to smash into another man who was standing its path.

A 22-year-old man was later arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and has since been released on bail.
Another man was arrested for affray.
In their last statement, West Midlands Police said: ‘We’ve arrested a man on suspicion of attempted murder after a number of people were injured when a car was driven at people in Livery Street in Birmingham on Friday morning.
‘The 22-year-old was arrested at a property in the city just before 9am today (5/10) and has been taken into custody for questioning.
‘We were called to disorder in Livery Street at around 3am yesterday (4/10).
‘A number of people were injured when a car was driven at a group outside The Tunnel nightclub.
‘The car was then driven away from the scene. It’s believed six people were injured during the incident all together, and five were taken to hospital.
‘Two of the injured remain in hospital, but their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. One of them is under arrest on suspicion of affray..’

Detective Chief Inspector Dave Sproson, from Birmingham Police, said: ‘We’re working hard to understand exactly what happened and why.
‘At this stage, we believe this to have been an isolated and deliberate attack linked to an earlier incident inside the nightclub.
‘The investigation continues to make good progress, but we’d still appeal for anyone with information or mobile phone images to get in touch via our dedicated website.’
The victim with ‘multiple serious injuries’ was taken to a Major Trauma Centre, with doctors in the ambulance providing care en route.
The other four were all treated by medics before being taken to hospital.
One local said they heard shouting and what they believed to be people fighting in the early hours of the morning.
They told The Mirror: ‘I heard shrieks, fighting and general ranting and raving for about half hour, which is uncommon at that time of night.
‘It’s really shocking what has happened. It would have been busy around there last night.’
Another local, who lives nearby the nightclub, claimed they saw a man ‘running people over in the street’.
A spokesman for Birmingham City University confirmed to MailOnline that none of its students were involved in the crash.

A spokesman from the Tunnel Club told MailOnline at the time that they ‘didn’t really know what was happening’ and declined to comment further as there was an ‘on-going police investigation’.
West Midlands Ambulance Service sent four ambulances, two paramedics officers a MERIT trauma doctor and critical care paramedic to the scene.
A service spokeswoman said the first resource arrived in five minutes and added: ‘On arrival, crews found five patients.
‘The first patient, a male pedestrian, was treated by ambulance crews for multiple serious injuries.
‘He was taken to a Major Trauma Centre for further treatment with MERIT travelling on board to continue care en route.
‘Four other men, also pedestrians, were all treated by medics for potentially serious injuries and conveyed to hospital for further treatment.’
