The driver is distraught and screaming: ‘My car!’

‘This country is finished,’ the person filming says, ‘Oh my days!’

He then told the driver to phone the police and ‘stop wasting time’.

The DPD driver and the person filming went to the Londis store and watch the shocking moment on CCTV.

Another clip then shows the DPD driver and the cameraman driving around looking for the stolen vehicle.

The cameraman says he thinks it’s unlikely they will find it, adding: ‘These car thieves know what they’re doing, man.’

The footage has since been shared online with one local saying: ‘Who the f*** leaves the engine running?’

Another person said: ‘You left your car running, in a petrol station, in London. Genius.’

Someone else added: ‘This is peak, because insurance won’t even cover him as he left his keys in the ignition unattended.’

‘This country is decaying by the minute,’ Said another.

And another person said: ‘Respect to the brother who tried to help the DPD driver out and look for his car.’

The Met Police has been approached for comment.
