Model who tried blackmail bloke by threatening to inform his spouse avoids jail

An OnlyFans model who blackmailed a married man by threatening to tell to his wife he received her adult content has avoided jail.

Bethan Guy, 29, threatened to reveal to the bloke’s missus he was looking at her saucy snaps after he failed to pay her cash.

He then gave her £450 but when she asked for more cash he reported her to cops, Swindon Crown Court heard.

The man, who cannot be identified due to a court order, was left distressed and was concerned he would lose his family if he didn’t hand over the cash, Wiltshire 999s reports.

Guy, of Swindon, was arrested and pleaded guilty to blackmail at the court in December 2023. While awaiting sentencing, Guy continued to promote her profile which features photos of her in the nude along with video footage of her engaged in sexual activity with men and using sex toys.

On October 15, Guy was given a two-year prison sentence that was suspended for two years.

She was also ordered to complete 225 hours of unpaid work in the community, 12 sessions of mental health treatment and 15 rehabilitation activity days with the probation service.

Guy was also ordered to pay the man £450 compensation at a rate of £50 per month.

In an Instagram post in July, Guy described her crime as “a mistake and stupidity”.

She added: “If I could go back to the moment it happened I would because it honestly was just a mistake but this small mistake has now cost me so much pain and dread I can’t even explain.

“If I could give anyone advice it’ll be don’t think you’re untouchable because something will catch up one day.”

In February, Guy’s sentencing was deferred until August by Judge Jason Taylor – but she was not sentenced until last week because of court delays.
