Clarkson’s Farm star Kaleb Cooper reveals he by chance snubbed David Beckham as he shares hilarious story

Kaleb Cooper once accidentally snubbed David Beckham by failing to recognise him.

The TV star, 26, has found fame through Clarkson’s Farm but admitted that because he is usually so wrapped up in his agriculture, it always takes him by surprise when global celebrities acknowledge him.

During an appearance on Capital Breakfast with Jordan North, Chris Stark and Sian Welby, on Wednesday, he said: ‘I didn’t really watch much TV, or, you know, go on Instagram too much.

‘So I don’t really understand and know any of these celebrities when they come up to me and go, “Oh hey Kaleb, can I have a picture” and so on.

‘Someone said, for example, David Beckham, you know, like…’

This Morning star Sian couldn’t believe that he didn’t recognise globally-renowned football star David, 49, and cut in to double check.

Kaleb confirmed: ‘No, I did recognise him after about 15 minutes.’

The former Manchester United player is also known for his marriage to Spice Girl Victoria Beckham, and the pair both have tens of millions of followers on Instagram.

He had paid a visit to the famous Diddly Squat farm, which is owned and operated by his famous pal Jeremy Clarkson and is the subject of the hit Amazon Prime series.

But still, when Jeremy asked Kaleb to come and meet the sports legend, he simply replied: ‘Who?’

Kaleb added: ‘Yeah. He was at the farm, and I just walked past, and he was there. And Jeremy was like, “Come and see David.” And I was like, “David who?” And David Beckham.’

As a joke, Jeremy captioned the photo: ‘Gerald. And another man.’

Kaleb found fame thanks to teaming up with the former Top Gear star for the hit docuseries, but insisted that ‘making it’ to him means buying his own farm.

Kaleb told the Telegraph: ‘I think I’ll feel like I made it when I’ve bought a farm.

‘At that point, I can actually relax a little bit and spend a little bit more time with family.’

He explained, however, that ‘everything is through the roof at the moment’ and he is doing everything he can not to move away from the place he ‘loves the most’.
