The hottest dates in Britain revealed: Trinny and Susannah’s daughters lead record of Tatler’s most eligible singletons – adopted by Jude Bellingham and Princess Theodora

Tatler has unveiled its annual list of Britain’s most eligible singles, with this year’s roundup a mixed bag of socialites, wealthy heirs and sports stars.

What Not To Wear presenters Trinny and Susannah’s daughters shared the number one spot, with London scene queens Lyla Elichaoff, 21, and Esme Bertelsen, 23, jointly being named the most desirable singletons in the UK right now.

They opened up about their friendship, experiences of jet-setting across Europe with their style icon mothers, and their mental health struggles in Tatler’s December issue, now on newsstands.

Along with Lyla and Esme, English football heartthrob Jude Bellingham, Labour MP Rosie Wrighting, and musician Olivia Dean have all made the Top 10 this year.

The list also features Nigerian Olympic hurdler and Eton alum Tade Ojora, environmentally-conscious royal Princess Theodora von Liechtenstein, and the oldest son of millionaire financier Ben Goldsmith.

Here’s everything you need to know about the hottest men and women in Britain right now…

Lyla Elichaoff and Esme Bertelsen

Lyla Elichaoff and Esme Bertelsen, the respective daughters of What Not To Wear presenters Trinny and Susannah, topped Tatler’s list of Britain’s most eligible singles in 2024. 

Not only have the duo inherited their mothers’ immaculate sense of style, both Lyla, 21, and Esme, 23, have thriving creative careers – with social media clout to boot.

Lyla is the daughter of Trinny Woodall and Stark Naked drummer Johnny Elichaoff, who died by suicide in 2014 when she was 11.

She is currently studying communication and digital media at Madrid’s IE University – also attended by the members of the European royal set, most notably including Marchesa Barbara Berlingieri.

Susannah Constantine and Danish businessman Stan Bertelsen, Esme studied art history at Bristol, and has since worked multiple cool-girl gigs, including writing for Plaster magazine and working at the Peggy Guggenheim museum in Venice.

Trinny, 60, and Susannah, 62, catapulted to national fame in the Nineties, as hosts of the BBC‘s popular makeover program that ran from 2001 until 2007. Their daughters have been friends for most of their lives, growing up against the backdrop of London‘s vibrant fashion scene.

‘It Girls’ and scions of British fashion royalty, Lyla and Esme recently appeared on the cover of Tatler’s December issue, poised to take over the reigns from Trinny and Susannah.

Jude Bellingham

Jude Bellingham made history when he became the youngest player at the Euros when he was 18. 

Three years later, the Real Madrid midfielder with a Midas touch helped England secure a place in the Euros 2024 final earlier this year, making Bellingham a national hero.

Add his model good looks and whopping salary to the mix, and you can see why Bellingham has been named Britain’s hottest man in 2024.

The West Midlands-born footballer earns a whopping £11.4m a year – or £220,000 per week – playing for Real Madrid. Should he choose to remain at the Spanish club for the entire duration of his six-year contract, Bellingham will have earned nearly £70m in wages by the time he is 25.

Earlier this year, he set pulses racing when he appeared in a campaign shoot for Kim Kardashian’s glamourous inner wear company Skims, with Bellingham smouldering for the camera in a pair of briefs. 

And rumour has it he’s single, with Tatler reporting Bellingham is on the celebrity dating app Raya – also known as ‘The Soho House for dating apps’.

Princess Theodora von Liechtenstein

Environmentalist, equestrian, and architect-in-training, Princess Theodora of Liechtenstein is an incredibly impressive 19-year-old. 

The daughter of Prince Alexander of Liechtenstein, an entrepreneur, and Astrid Barbara Kohl, a German interior designer, Theodora is currently studying architecture at Cambridge University.

When she’s not in class, the 19-year-old oversees the running of Green Teen Team foundation that Theodora founded when she was 10. 

The not-for-profit encourages youth involvement in global conservation efforts, with branches in the UK, Italy, Australia, and Zimbabwe.

When she’s not in class – or off trying to save the turtles – Theodora can be spotted partying at private members’ club Annabel or sipping Pimms’ at Henley with her university pals.

Frankie Goldsmith

The oldest son of millionaire financier Ben Goldsmith, and recent Eton graduate, Frankie Goldsmith has made it to Tatler’s Little Black Book of Britain’s most eligible singles at the age of 19.

Born to Ben and heiress Kate Emma Rothschild, Frankie’s fiery red hair has earned him comparisons to the Duke of Sussex – but there’s more to his eligible status than that.

One of the heirs to ‘two of the most powerful British dynasties’ – the Goldsmiths and Rothschilds – Frankie’s families have a combined net worth of around £300m. 

He is the nephew of Tory MP Zac Smith and British film stalwart Jemima Khan, the former wife of Pakistan’s ex Prime Minister Imran Khan.

Like his former uncle-in-law, Frankie is a talented fast bowler and reportedly has quite an old-world hobby: the young Goldsmith is an avid coin collector.

Orlando Getty

Heir to the American Getty oil empire, 23-year-old Orlando Getty is also among the top 10 most dateable Brits this year. 

According to Tatler, Orlando recently graduated from the University of Edinburgh, where he studied business and Spanish. 

In keeping with his family’s entrepreneurial spirit, Orlando is also the co-founder of fintech startup Ascendit ‘dedicated to empowering individuals’ finances in South Africa’, according to his LinkedIn profile.

When he’s not hard at work, the jet-setting GenZ party boy makes regular appearances at Madrid hotspot Club Malasana and London’s Raffles, where he can be seen sipping mojitos with his friend Lottie Cecil.

Lady Alexandra Russell

Lady Alexandra Russell is among London high society’s most glamorous new entrants – making her a shoo-in for Tatler’s Little Black Book.

The daughter of the Duke and Duchess of Bedford, Alexandra, 23, is an Old Stoic (as students of the prestigious Stowe school are called) and currently works as an interior design assistant for Noughties It Girl, Emma Benyon.

Tade Ojora

Nigerian-born Tade Ojora has made it to the ranks of Tatler’s most eligible, after the athlete represented Great Britain at the 2024 Paris Olympics earlier this year. 

Hailing from the royal family of Ojora Royal Family of Lagos, Tade was sent to England’s most prestigious boarding school when he was eight.

The Eton alum earned national fame after he represented his adopted country in the 110-metre hurdles at the Olympics this year, with the 25-year-old bowing out in the semi-finals.

Still, the two-time British champion’s dazzling smile and ‘royal’ lineage has turned him into a national heartthrob. 

Olivia Dean

Neo-soul singer Olivia Dean has a lot going for her. Her debut album Messy was shortlisted for the Mercury Prize last year before the southeast London-based musician headlined Coachella festival in April.

In June, the 25-year-old held Glastonbury captive with an exquisite set at the hallowed Pyramid Stage. 

One of the most exciting names in music right now, Olivia also sparked rumours she was dating Harry Styles after the duo was spotted grabbing a Five Guys burger in London this August.

A source told The Sun that Olivia has ‘loads in common’ with the former One Direction star, adding they’ve known each other for a while.

‘They have loads in common with their music taste and are enjoying getting to know each other out of the spotlight,’ they said. 

‘Harry loves nothing more than cycling and trying out new food spots in the capital and Olivia is a London girl so knows all the best places.’

Olivia catapulted into the spotlight after she earned three BRIT Award nominations for Best Pop Act, British Artist Of The Year and Best New Artist this year. 

The talented musician was initally accepted to the BRIT school at the age of 15 to study theatre but fortuitously switched to songwriting later. 

Rosie Wrighting  

Rosie became the first woman MP to represent Kettering when she was elected at the age of 26

At the age of 27, Rosie Wrighting is currently the youngest female MP in Westminster after she overturned a Conservative majority in her constituency of Kettering. 

Rosie was among 13 women MPs elected to Parliament after Labour’s landslide win, with the group being dubbed ‘Starmer’s Sisterhood’. 

In an interview with Vogue, Rosie credited her ‘real-world experience’ of struggling at university when ‘there wasn’t money at the end of the month, despite working full-time’ as the driving force behind her decision to get into politics. 

She studied fashion at the University of Westminster and worked as a buyer for retail giant ASOS before pivoting to politics.

Speaking to The Times about what it’s like being the youngest female MP, Rosie said you definitely need ‘a thick skin’. 

‘I’ve had tough comments on social media about everything from my age to my gender, and have been overly sexualised online,’ the GenZ politician added. 

‘I’m aware I probably don’t look like what people think of when they envision an MP.’ 

Lord Dalmeny 

Rounding out Tatler’s Top 10 is the newly-ascended Lord Dalmeny, 19-year-old Albert Caspian Harry Primrose. 

His father Harry Primrose is the great grandson of Prime Minister Archibald Primrose, the 5th Earl of Roseberry. 

The earls of Rosebery own Dalmeny House, an 1817 Gothic revival mansion the north-west of Edinburgh, in Scotland. 

Heir to the Rosebery earldom, Caspian recently graduated from prestigious private boarding school Uppingham, joining the ranks of famous alum including Stephen Fry, Rowan Atkinson, and Hugh Jackman. 

Tatler reported Caspian is planning to spend a few months in South Africa working in animal conservation before attending university. 

And eventually taking his rightful place as the 9th Earl of Roseberry at Dalmemy House.
