Is Tommy Fury making a mad sprint for money? As star ‘pulls out of I’m A Celeb’ for profitable struggle deal – how he is been making a fortune with model offers and a tell-all memoir after splitting from millionaire Molly-Mae Hague

When Tommy Fury split from Molly-Mae Hague it was suggested that he could face substantial financial losses.

His ex is said to be the wealthier of the two, due to her influence on fashion and social media, with an estimated net worth of £6 million in comparison to his £3m.

When news of their split broke and Tommy’s reputation became marred by cheating rumours, he lost 20,000 Instagram followers in response – a huge blow to the boxer and social media influencer who monetises off his platforms.

However, this week he pulled out of a lucrative I’m A Celebrity stint in favour of another opportunity, so it would seem he’s not strapped for cash.

His high profile fights with KSI and Jake Paul, have seen him earn £1.1million and £1.6million, respectively, with a re-match potentially on the cards.

Meanwhile, his new tell-all autobiography will drop October 28 and he has since been seen promoting new brands on his Instagram.

So, just how does Tommy manage his finances? Here, MailOnline takes a look at the boxer’s fortune.

Boxing Career

Tommy fought his first professional bout in 2018 against Jevgenijs Andrejevs, claiming his maiden victory against a fighter with an unenviable 10 wins to his name and 102 defeats.

He then chased his initial win with his first knockout victory against Callum Idle three months later in March 2019, but Love Island that summer changed his path.

Daniel Bocianski in 2022 was to be his last professional opponent, as later stepped into the ring as a ‘crossover boxer’, taking on American YouTuber Jake Paul.

Last October PR experts believed Tommy was well on track to make an eye-watering £10million by 2025 due to social media driven events such as his boxing matches with KSI and Jake.

The boxer received a £1.1million fee to fight KSI last year and £1.6million to fight it out against social media personality Jake Paul.

From his match with Jake Paul he also earned 35 per cent of the PPV money, so in total, he earned £3.7million.

Tommy has now entered talks with KSI over a possible rematch after their blockbuster clash, according to reports.

He has won all 10 of his professional fights so far, although he hasn’t entered the ring since his initial bout with KSI.

KSI was livid following the fight, in which the scorecards read 57-56, 57-56, 57-56 in Tommy’s favour. KSI branded the verdict ‘a robbery’.

The former Love Island star has won four of his fights so far by knockout and he could now be looking to test himself again.

KSI’s manager and Misfits Boxing boss Mams Taylor recently suggested that a rematch was likely.

Tommy still insists world titles are in his future, and in 2023 he claimed that he’s ‘eager to learn, win titles, and go down as a proper boxer’ rather than a celebrity sideshow.

Outside of boxing, much like his ex-fiancée, Tommy also explored various ventures and will release his memoir, Lightning Can Strike Twice: My Life as a Fury, next week.

He has confirmed he is set to lift the lid about his split from Molly-Mae in a new chapter in the upcoming autobiography.

Following talks with publishers amid his shock break-up with the influencer Tommy has made changes to his book and will address the reasons for the split.

Taking to his Instagram Stories the sportsman told fans fans this last month had not been ‘easy’, before confirming his book will contain an ‘extra chapter ‘to reflect on ‘current’ events in his life.

He explained: ‘Hey guys, hope you’re all doing okay. As you all know, the past month for me hasn’t been easy but I’ve been having a lot of questions regarding my book Lightning Can Strike Twice.

‘I just want to come on here and confirm that the book is still coming out next month and it’s still available to preorder.”

‘I’ve also tried to keep it as current as I can for you guys. I’ve wrote an extra chapter, obviously discussing what’s been going on this past month. So yeah, just wanted to say that the book is still going ahead.’

It was said there was a ‘major concern’ over the yet to be published book, which was written before the fallout and is said to feature gushing chapters about Tommy’s romance with Molly-Mae.

A representative for the boxer told the Mail: ‘Tommy is horrified by the false allegations of cheating being circulated by the media and he is consulting his lawyers.’

It has been reported that Tommy has quietly set up a new business on his own before his split from Molly-Mae was confirmed.

Tommy set up investment firm Fury Properties Ltd, to look after his portfolio assets independently from Molly-Mae in March.

The former couple have been known to keep their businesses and accounts separate and own their own properties.

The Sun reports Molly’s companies, MMH Group Holdings Ltd, MMH International Ltd and Filter (By Molly-Mae) Ltd, are worth four times the value of Tommy’s.

Her businesses have combined reserves of £1,720,506, whereas Tommy’s firms firms Fury TNT and Tommy Fury TNT Ltd have equity of £415,203.

According to Companies House, the couple have kept their businesses completely separate.

Financial advisor Adam Garcia from the Stock Dork told MailOnline the split could have impact Tommy’s future earnings.

He said: ‘Tommy Fury could face substantial financial losses as a result of the split, particularly due to the potential impact on his brand partnerships.

‘Estimates suggest that his earnings could decrease by up to 40% without the association with Molly-Mae, whose influence in the fashion and social media spaces has been a significant factor in their joint appeal to brands.

‘This could affect his attractiveness to brands that were primarily interested in the couple’s combined influence.

However, this month he has been working with Marks and Spencer to promote their new range of Christmas food.

An advertisement shared to his Instagram this week read: ‘I tried the knockout range of sweet and savoury Christmas snacks from Marks and Spencer this week, to find out once and for all whether I’m team sweet, or team savoury.

A TV insider told The Sun: ‘Bosses are surprised Tommy has chosen to pull out of I’m A Celebrity at this late stage as it would have been a great opportunity for him too.

‘Thankfully, the execs already had some great names waiting in the wings so they’ll now be looking at which ones fit best into the line up already booked so they can deliver a truly great series.

‘With only weeks to go, bosses have lined up one of the most exciting casts in the show’s history.’
