Influencer shamed for Diddy blackface and child oil Halloween costume

A pair of college students have been shamed online for dressing as Sean ‘DiddyCombs and baby oil for Halloween.

The male involved wore blackface for the bizarre costume, which also included a red bow tie, black blazer and white trousers.

The blonde woman he arrived with wore a pink sweater with a printed out ‘Johnson’s baby’ oil sign stuck to the front of her chest.

Video of the controversial costume was posted on TikTok on Sunday, following a weekend of Halloween celebrations across the nation.

But it was swiftly deleted as backlash began mounting almost instantly.

The woman who posted the costume, who is not believed to be the woman in the photograph, attends San Diego State University in California.

The video was captioned: ‘How the group chat dressed for Halloween.’

Other costumes in the video carousel included Woody and Jessie from Toy Story and Ratatouille.

While the original video has been deleted and the woman who posted has since either deactivated or made private all of her social media accounts, it was saved and has been reshared across the internet.

Critics have been sharing the contact details of San Diego State University and urging the public to reach out to voice concerns about the costume.

DailyMail.com has approached the university for comment.

‘Aside from the blatant and despicable blackface, this is just an incredibly lazy version of Diddy,’ one critic said.

‘He couldn’t think to wear all white or his signature glasses? A f***ing red bow tie, blazer and blackface is supposed to give Diddy?’

Another wrote: ‘That’s not even a Diddy outfit, like all you did was just blackface.’

A third person said ‘even with the blackface I don’t think it would have registered for me that this is supposed to be Diddy.’

‘You can s**t on Diddy while not being racist. He did not have to do blackface and everyone would’ve known who he was especially with his girl as baby oil.’

Another suggested the boy should be ‘locked up in the same cell with Diddy as punishment.’

The baby oil reference comes from Diddy’s arrest in September, when reports surfaced that federal agents seized 1,000 bottles of baby oil from Combs’ homes in Miami and Los Angeles.

Diddy accusers say the oil was laced with date rape drug GHB.

Diddy faces a host of sex trafficking and racketeering charges after he was hit with an indictment accusing him of years of coercion and abuse while using blackmail and violence to control his victims.

He has also been accused of inducing female victims and male sex workers into drugged-up, sometimes days-long sexual performances referred to as ‘Freak Offs.’

Meanwhile the practice of dressing in blackface has landed stars and politicians in hot water over the years.

Megyn Kelly’s NBC show was canceled in 2018 after the television host claimed blackface was okay when she was a child.

‘What is racist?’ Kelly said in a segment of her Megyn Kelly Today show.

‘Because you do get in trouble if you are a white person who puts on blackface on Halloween, or a black person who puts on whiteface for Halloween. Back when I was a kid that was OK, as long as you were dressing up as, like, a character.’

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau also faced backlash after a photograph resurfaced of him wearing blackface at an Arabian Nights themed party in 2001.
