Heartstopping second girl and her canine narrowly escape being hit by landslide as cliff falls onto seaside huts
This is the shocking moment a woman and her dog narrowly escaped being hit by a landslide as cliffs fell onto beach huts.
The terrifying footage, shared by Russel Mole, shows the woman perched with her dog outside their hut in Bournemouth.
The landslip suddenly occurs and and the woman is seen sprinting away from the collapsing cliff.
The area had to be fenced off after a previous landslip on October 9, with Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council confirming it had cordoned off the area.
The council said it would update beach hut owners after an assessment is carried out.
Natalie Carr, who had a hut there for 18 years, said she is ‘very worried’ as she doesn’t know when she will be able to access the property to retrieve her belongings.

‘We haven’t been allowed close enough to inspect yet. It’s pushed off its feet and damaged roof but that’s all we can see from the cordon,’ she said.
‘It’s somewhat wonky so we’re hoping some of it is salvageable.
‘We have to wait for BCP council to say it’s safe for us to visit before we can access anything.’
She added: ‘It could take months and maybe more landslides to add further damage.
‘It costs us to replace if needed and just spent £4k on it. Also paying ground rent to the council for nothing. We are in conversations with them all the time but it’s still the same response.’
The newly emerged footage comes days after video showed a man coming within inches of being wiped out by a flying beach hut in Bournemouth.
