Raunchy Brit Halloween revellers strip off for wild nights on UK cities streets
Super Mario, cheerleaders and even the Mona Lisa were spotted out on Britain’s streets last night as Halloween revellers flocked to the pub to celebrate.
A wife array of cheeky and amusing costumes from skimpy to just plain strange were on display as the Halloween hedonism continued. Students in Newcastle and punters in Soho were among thousands putting their own spin on the annual festivities.
In Newcastle, an idea for a film we never knew we needed to see was mashed together as cheerleaders mixed with Mario and Luigi and a man in a Friday the 13th mask. ‘Donald Trump‘ also appeared in his latest stop on his exhausting campaign trail to Make Newcastle Spooky Again.

Angels, playboy bunny tributes and a police officer were all part of the festivities as the autumn cold did little to prevent partying Brits from having a good old-fashioned knees-up up north.
More playboy bunnies, apparently a popular costume this year, were seen in Leeds while police and army recruits flashed peace signs in Nottingham while donning non-regulation uniform.
It was in London’s Soho area, the traditional height of British hedonism, where the pick of the costumes was spotted as one person donned a huge picture frame with their own face poking through for a brilliant twist on the Mona Lisa.
We aren’t sure, but we don’t think old Lisa del Giocondo, who sat still for Leonardo da Vinci, was wearing Doc Martin boots at the time her likeness was painted. Minus one point for inaccuracy.
Celebs also brought their A-game this year with Beetlejuice, ET the Extra-Terrestrial and Britney Spears among the impressive Halloween looks.
Love Island host Maya Jama, who hosts an annual star-studded Halloween party, maintained her high standard of costumes by creating a tailored Beetlejuice outfit for October 31. Little Mix singer Perrie Edwards transformed herself into fellow pop star Lady Gaga while she dressed her son Axel to look like Bruno Mars.
TV presenter Jamie Laing dressed as Carl Fredricksen from the Pixar film Up and Countdown star Rachel Riley dressed up as 1950s movie star Marilyn Monroe on the set of the Channel 4 game show.
The Brits appeared to have a much cheerier time than their friends across the Irish Sea. In Dublin, the Gardai intervened to disperse a large crowd that had gathered on Dublin’s main thoroughfare for a non-existent Halloween parade.
Groups congregated on O’Connell Street on Halloween night after naughty posts online suggested there would be a spooky spectacle there from 7pm. Just before 8pm, Gardai posted on social media site X to appeal to glum-faced people to leave.
