EA FC 25 providing Ballon d’Or nominee in Ultimate Team free of charge this weekend – this is how
EA FC fans already have the Team of the Week items for this week to chase, but EA is dishing out big treats for anyone logging in this weekend in the form of some of the world’s best footballers – and it won’t cost you a penny.
The developers are celebrating the Ballon d’Or with some login rewards for dedicated players that mean you can net yourself the likes of Vinicius Jr., Harry Kane, Erling Haaland, or Rodri, as well as women’s nominees like Alexia Putellas, Trinity Rodman, Grace Geyoro, and Aitana Bonmati.
Here’s how to get the world’s best players for free in EA FC 25 this weekend.
EA FC 25 Ballon d’Or rewards and how to claim them
Perhaps the best part of this offering is that players simply need to log into the game between November 8 and November 12. Doing so will grant them two Player Picks.
Each of these picks will have five players offered, with one pick for the men’s game and one pick for women’s football.
Sadly, you won’t get to keep these top players – they’ll be offered as Limited Time Only Loans, so while they aren’t constrained to a certain number of matches, they will become unusable after a set time period.
As for the winners, their cards are particularly impressive.
Rodri gets a 97-rated card, with 88 pace, shooting, and dribbling, as well as 90 passing and physical, and 97 for defending.
Aitana Bonmati is a 97-rated CM with 82 physical and defending stats, 90 pace, 92 shooting and passing, and 97 for dribbling.
The awards were somewhat contentious this year, with Real Madrid forward Vini Jr. expected to take the top honor, before not travelling to the event in Paris.
The club told AFP last week: “If the award criteria doesn’t give it to Vinicius as the winner, then those same criteria should point to Carvajal as the winner.
“As this was not the case, it is clear that Ballon d’Or-UEFA does not respect Real Madrid. And Real Madrid does not go where it is not respected.”
