Horror as bus carrying marriage ceremony visitors falls into river killing 18 folks
A bus of wedding guests has plummeted into a river killing at least 18 people on board.
The tragic incident took place in the Gilgit Baltistan region in northern Pakistan, government spokesman Faizullah Farqan said.
The passengers were on their way to Chakwal, a city in Punjab province, when the accident occurred, sending the bus into the Indus river earlier today, Tuesday, November 12.
Farqan added that as the search for bodies continues, only one women has been found alive. She is receiving treatment in hospital.
Polices are still unclear about what caused the crash, and the sole survivor is yet to be interviewed.
