Arsenal flop ‘confirms’ relationship with mannequin Teanna Trump in loved-up Insta snap
American model Teanna Trump seems to have confirmed her romance with Arsenal flop Nicolas Pepe.
The former Gunner, now playing for La Liga side Villarreal, was spotted in a photo of the two enjoying a meal together. Trump, whose real name is Keanna Nichele Jones, shared a picture of herself with Pepe that was initially posted by Pepe’s sister Corinne.
It’s been speculated that the pair have been an item for five months, with Trump’s post of the snap being accompanied by SamRecks’ ‘situationship’ song.
The 29-year-old adult film star was spotted in the VIP section at Villarreal’s Estadi de la Ceramica for the team’s first match of the season against Atletico Madrid and has been seen wearing the team’s shirt.
Trump and Pepe are reported to have visited Bioparc Valencia and aquarium, with Trump even seen with the ex-Arsenal star’s children. The Ivory Coast international has also posted a picture of Trump on his social media.
Pepe made a headline-grabbing £72million move to Arsenal in 2019 when Unai Emery was at the helm. Moving from Lille, Pepe became the most expensive signing for the north London club. However, the winger failed to justify his hefty price tag and had a tough time at the Emirates, reports the Mirror.
The 2020/21 season saw him score 10 goals in 29 Premier League matches, but Pepe could only manage 16 goals in 80 league games overall.
Bukayo Saka’s rise at Arsenal meant Nicolas Pepe was pushed to the sidelines, leading him to a loan spell at Nice in the 2022/23 season before he left the Gunners on a free transfer in September 2023, despite having a year left on his contract. After a single season in Turkey, Pepe made a free switch to Villarreal.
Last month, Pepe revealed he’s loving life in Spain, saying he has “rediscovered the pleasure of learning a new football culture.” But he holds no grudges about his time with Arsenal, though. “Playing for Arsenal is still a huge part of my career,” he admitted. “Playing with The Gunners, it’s unforgettable.”
He added, “I won titles [the FA Cup and the Community Shield] with this great club, so it was far from a bad experience. I still remember the good things. The Arsenal chapter, I won’t say it’s behind me. It’s above all something I’ll carry with me until the end of my career.
“At the time, I had a discussion with Unai Emery that lasted almost an hour. He explained to me how he wanted me to fit into the team, and obviously it convinced me.”
“Honestly, I’ve turned the page. I have no rancour. Frankly, I wish Mikel Arteta the best.”
