Marcus Rashford sends incorrect message to Ruben Amorim with extra bodyguards than objectives
Cole Palmer went to watch Stockport County at the weekend.
Marcus Rashford, meanwhile, was in New York watching a basketball game between the Knicks and the Nets. A video emerged of him leaving the arena, in which Rashford strolls to a people carrier wearing sunglasses (at night time) and what resembles a dressing gown top, complete with hood pulled up.
There also appears to be more bodyguards surrounding him than the number of goals he’s scored for Manchester United this season (4 in 18 games).
Rashford looked like someone now completely swallowed up by his own celebrity.
Someone who appears to have forgotten where he actually comes from.
What message does he think he’s sending to his new Manchester United manager, Ruben Amorim?
The only positive seems to be that at least he looked ready for bed.
Palmer, meanwhile, hasn’t forgotten his roots, despite his meteoric rise to becoming one of the best young players in Europe. Hence his trip to Edgeley Park.
Which might explain why Palmer is now starring for England, and Rashford has nothing better to do that swan around New York acting like a legend in his own lunchtime.
